Emma is such a talented and wonderful photographer and an even better person. We have loved getting to know and work with Emma over this year and are very grateful to have chosen her as our photographer for our October 2021 wedding. Emma is very professional and a great communicator. She took the time to understand what was important to us and our priorities for our wedding day. We first got to meet her in person during an engagement shoot where Emma immediately put us at ease, made the session fun, and kept the mood light and comfortable. On our wedding day she brought a gentleness and calmness to the day. The photos from the engagement shoot and wedding day are so beautiful and sweet and capture all the love and joy of the day. They are such a treasure for us and our families, capturing candid moments that otherwise would have been forgotten. Emma does a great job at wrangling folks for photos, but is also relaxed and goes with the flow. She made the photos feel like a natural part of the day rather than a burden or added stress. We highly recommend Emma and know she will bring the same joy and comfort to your day that she did for us!

Working with Emma was a total dream — she made us feel comfortable and confident the whole time while working her magic. We felt she really heard us about what was important to us and was able to capture our relationship in a way that took our breath away. Emma's strong creative direction, love for her craft, warmth, and humor were clear throughout the day of our wedding and during our engagement session, but on top of that she was on time to everything, easy to get in touch with, and helped us work through logistical questions and think through the nuts and bolts of what we were looking for with our wedding photography. Emma is a gem, and we know her work speaks for itself, but above all else she's a really cool gal and we are so glad to have had the chance to meet her.

This review is long overdue, especially for such a great photographer and human. In December 2020, my husband and I planned to get legally wed at the courthouse and then (literally) drive off into the sunset for personal vows in a scenic location. Until a few weeks before our two-part marriage, we were focused on the scenic vows and viewed the courthouse as a means to the fun part...and then realized we should really capture the courthouse moments too, if only for posterity. Enter Emma. She was so understanding about our last-minute request (thank goodness we had picked a weekday, so we could snag her!) and was professional, accommodating, and reassuring about the process. We even looked to her for guidance on how a courthouse ceremony runs. Thanks to her flexibility, creativity, and generally stellar personality, we had a ton of fun capturing pics in the sunset prior to our ceremony and, when the ceremony ended up being unexpectedly moving, she captured our faces as we said those two little words for the first time. Emma movingly captured the moment we legally became husband and wife, and made a stressful covid courthouse wedding way more fun than we ever thought. The images are full of emotion and love, and they’ll be valued for more than posterity :)
