We are beyond thrilled with the incredible work Emily Crenca and her associate did for our wedding! From start to finish, both of them were professional, patient, and truly dedicated to making our wedding photos everything we dreamed of.
Before the wedding, Emily took the time to meet with us and help us realize our vision for the day. She listened carefully to our ideas, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made sure we felt confident and excited about the photography process. On the wedding day, the associate was amazing at organizing and directing our wedding party. She helped keep everyone in the right place at the right time, ensuring that we stayed on schedule without feeling rushed. Their teamwork was seamless and made everything run smoothly.
One of the things we appreciated most was how patient and caring the associate was during our family photos. We really wanted to make sure we had beautiful pictures with our loved ones, and the team made that happen. She took the time to ensure everyone was in the right spot and was so gentle and kind with our family members, making the experience stress-free and enjoyable.

As for the photos themselves — we’re absolutely in love! Emily’s artistic vision really brought our vintage aesthetic to life. They played with light, angles, and backdrops in a way that resulted in truly unique and stunning photos. One of our favorites was a series of shots taken in a backlit hallway — they came out absolutely amazing! The detail shots are also something we cherish, capturing the small moments and personal touches we wanted to remember. The photos we’ve seen so far are absolutely beautiful and perfectly capture the essence of our day. The editing was also amazing. The final photos fully matched our aesthetic. We felt like we were on the cover of a Bronte novel. She also returned our photos very quickly, and we were able to enjoy them quickly after the weekend itself.

Emily goes beyond her lens. She has an infamous out-of-the-box visionary way of thinking, that is projected onto her snapshots, it was pleasantly unexpended & refreshing!

Emily recently did our wedding (5-17-24). She was amazing to work with. She made us feel completely comfortable and had us laughing the whole time. She made sure that our wedding day was stress free. I can't recommend her enough!

Emily has become someone that I cannot imagine not having her capturing my life. She is someone I followed for years, so the second I got engaged, I knew she was my girl to capture these upcoming special moments. My fiancé and I did our engagement shoot with her in August of 2023 and I have never seen my fiancé be so comfortable in front of a camera than when Emily was behind it. She is hilarious, truthful, has outstanding work, and just such a great person to be around during such special times. Everyone needs to hire her, you will NOT regret it....

Emily will be the first to say that she is an acquired taste. You might read that and be hesitant, and that is okay. If you enjoy someone who is direct, passionate, and not to mention talented (with a hint of raunchy in the best way) as hell, she is your girl. I was first drawn to Emily for her editing style. I saw her profile on instagram and knew that was what I wanted for our wedding - I must admit I followed her business for a few years before we were even engaged. In doing so I learned more about the person behind the camera and instantly connected with the person and their art.

We met for our engagement shoot. It was rainy a rainy October day. The second we were in Emily's presence she literally took my hand and we walked and she brought us to each spot and we just had fun. I knew we were in good hands. And then our album dropped... damn.

One year later it's wedding time. We met and reviewed timeline and once again her direct attitude and confidence made me feel reassured. Emily arrived to the hotel room and I instantly felt grounded. She did her thing and we were all getting ready. I was even able to take a moment and just sit with her and catch up. It takes a special chemistry to feel that grounded and calm on the morning of your wedding. There were times that I honestly forgot "the photographer" was there because she just blended in so seamlessly.

I also would be remiss if I didn't make a note that we had some familial tensions throughout the day and Emily was always there for US. Even if other people wanted us to wrap things up, Emily knew that she was there for my husband and I and would just keep going and I am grateful for that because I know at the end of the day I would be upset if we didn't capture Emily's vision.

I didn't even realize it until after the wedding, I never gave Emily a shot list. She did not need it. After the ceremony, Emily stated confidently "alright, I have my system." And it was a well-oiled machine. This group of people in, these people out... she ran her show and ran it well.

Trust the vendors that you connect with. Treat your vendors as humans. Remember they're the professionals in their art and you, yes, hired them for a reason. But, take a moment to make sure they're there for you. I felt that confidence and connection to Emily. I cannot wait to see our photos and I trust every second she puts into work on them will be beyond worth it.

I had the privilege of first meeting Emily at a different wedding when I was a bridesmaid and she was the photographer. I knew right then and there that when I got engaged one day, I would book her immediately. And that's exactly what my fiance and I did! Emily was the second vendor we booked because we didn't want to risk not having her shoot our special day. After looking at her portfolio and during our first FaceTime with her, my fiance also fell in love with her raw talent at capturing each couple's story and how she captures the moments you didn't know you needed captured. We recently had our engagement session with Emily and while I don't always feel the most comfortable in front of the camera, she made me feel comfortable right away. That's because not only is she that incredible of a photographer, but she makes you part of her friend circle right away. She becomes so much more than a photographer when you book with her - she becomes your right-hand woman, ally, and friend. Emily truly has a talent that you won't find elsewhere and after receiving our engagement photos back, we absolutely cannot wait to have her capture our wedding day!

I don't think I actually have the space or time on here to put in to words how absolutely amazing (and hilarious) Emily truly is! From the moment I reached out to her almost two years ago (Covid bride here) I knew that she was going to make our wedding a blast. Due to the pandemic we had to postpone our wedding a year, but lucky for us, Emily was still available.

Fast forward to May 2021 and OF COURSE it was like a damn hurricane the weekend of our wedding. That was no challenge for her, she made the day an absolute blast and worked friggen magic with what she was given! Having a photographer like her put all of my nerves at ease. She's fun, full of life, totally inappropriate, and top notch professional. I don't care how quiet or shy you are, she will make your fun and crazy side pop out!

If we didn't love her enough, she had a sneak peek our photos within a week and a half and had all of our photos delivered to us in less than a month, even while she is doing 100 weddings and engagement shoots in between! Can you say ROCKSTAR??!

We found her through a friend. Their review to us was “she’s amazing. But she’s eccentric”

If you’re looking for someone to lighten your life with blunt amazingness, she’s your girl. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would.

Emily has this amazing way of breaking you our of your shell. She’s an animal lover and one of the nicest humans you’ll ever meet. Bullsh*# is not a word in Emily’s personality. She will tell you how it is, regardless of how it makes you feel.

Did you pose super awkwardly? Em will tell you.

Is your hair covering you eyes? Em will let you know.

Do you look absolutely glowing and perfect in every way? Emily will tell you!

If she doesn’t build you up, I don’t know who will.

So down to basics.

We did a phone consult with Emily Before we hired her. (I can not stress enough how important this is!) Our chemistry & vibe was undeniable. She was our photographer & we instantly knew it. We got the wildfire package. At the time it was 8 hours of day of, 2 canvases & 1 engagement session. Upon meeting Em at our engagement session she was so darn happy. (and my at the time fiancé was 10 minutes late) She knew just how to get us to relax & how to make him not super weird. She let us play in the water & told us how to move. Our photos were beautiful!!!
We got sneaks pretty quickly and our whole album so fast! An unheard of thing for engagement shoots!

We had our wedding 8/22. Emily was amazing at getting us to stick to the timeline, making sure we got perfect shots & just being her cool self.

We also hired her for an extra hour the day after for a “trash the dress” shoot. She took us in a river & watched us jump in a pond from the little pond boat we had.

The best part?
Our wedding was Saturday. Trash the dress Sunday. By Monday night we had EIGHTY FOUR SNEAKS. By Tuesday night we had OUR FULL FRIGGEN GALLERY!!! 1,400+ edited photos. All amazing.

If you’re looking for a stuffy boring photographer who does basic poses & won’t break you out of your comfort zone- don’t hire Emily.

But if you’re looking for a down to earth, crazy amazing photographer who will do anything for the shot- Emily is your girl.

Emily is a perfectionist and when you want photos for your wedding, you want perfection. She gives you just that in her photos and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for any event. She made our wedding so awesome and so fun! There is never a dull moment with Emily and if you have any sense of humor, you will love her. My wife and I could not have chose a better person to take photographs of us that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We love Emily and if you choose her, you will too!
