Mel was so great! We had our wedding at a location that required us to provide everything including coordination. We first sat down with Mel to hire her as a day-of coordinator only, but ended up hiring her for her full services. She was extremely accommodating leading up to the wedding, driving over an hour to tour our venue on her own (a 2+ hour task), getting her crowd control certification, and helping us find all of the help we needed. She was there the entire day before to help set up, run out and pick things up, and follow up on loose ends. The day of she was awesome, I didn't have to worry about a thing because Mel was taking care of it. Although we told her she could leave, she stayed until the bitter end (about 12:30pm) to make sure everyone got on the last bus safely. Without Mel our wedding day would have been filled with bumps and stress, she kept everything running smoothly so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Not to mention we were on a very tight budget, not only were her services within our affordable range but she recruited additional help (that was amazing) within our budget. My (now) wife Amanda and I are very creative and particular and had our own visions for our wedding. We originally hired Everlasting Events of New Hampshire basically for someone to be there in case we needed backup the day of the wedding. If a bulb burned out or the bar ran out of ice, etc., it would be nice to have someone there to be the central person to take care of "issues." We didn't think we really needed much help planning. Well, let me tell you that Melissa (Mel) went waaaay above and beyond not only the day of, but weeks prior. She has the knowledge about things that we didn't even think of and ability to get things done ... plus, she's not afraid to get her hands dirty. There was no task to big or too small. She was willing to do anything we asked – and didn't complain once! We thought we could handle everything ourselves, but honestly, I don't know how we could have pulled it off with out her. It was an absolute pleasure working with Mel. She was great! I found the process of working with her to be very organized, timely and stress free.
