LJ was great! She listened and understood the assignment! She made me and my mom look beautiful.

I did a virtual makeup class with LJ prior to my wedding, and it was worth every penny! This spring we cancelled our big wedding due to COVID and decided to elope with our immediate families. I was feeling really nervous about having my photo taken all day without the confidence boost of professional makeup, especially since I was NOT good at makeup. I really needed the lessons! LJ met with me for about half an hour on Zoom to go over what I wanted to look like and what I already had in my makeup bag (literally nothing except one eyeliner and some expired mascara LOL). Next, she sent me a custom list of specific products/colors that fit what I needed. Then we spent an hour together on Zoom learning how to use each product. Getting the feedback in real time about my technique was so much better than learning on YouTube! After our lesson, she sent me a video recording of the whole lesson, which I watched while I got ready on the day of my wedding. My photographer thought my makeup had been professionally applied!! I'm glad I did things this way- now I have makeup that works for my skin, and I know how to use it for other events in the future. On top of how helpful she was, I also want to emphasize how warm, kind, and funny LJ is. I totally recommend the virtual lesson to any brides who need pointers but are concerned about social distancing. Thank you, LJ!!

I do not tend to wear makeup and she far exceeded my expectations and vision of a natural look on my wedding day. My bridesmaid's makeup was just as amazing.

We had a great experience working with LJ! She did my, my bridesmaids, and my now-husband's makeup for our wedding. My package included a dry run which was a lot of fun and helpful for ensuring the day of went smoothly and efficiently. Her work made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt! My bridesmaids could not stop looking at themselves! The touch-ups LJ gave my husband made him feel more confident. I highly recommend working with LJ!

Linda is an amazing, amazing person but she is equally skilled at what she does! I got married in Tobago, a small island in the Caribbean. The day of my wedding it looked like it would rain (and it did later in the evening) but it was also hot. My dream was to have an outdoor wedding so I knew the makeup needed to stay on (not to mention the tears that would inevitably occur). From the very beginning with my trial session Linda was accommodating, welcoming and, even when I didn't realize it, very attentive to every detail I wanted. She heard my vision for the look I wanted and took into consideration that I generally don't wear a lot of makeup. The trial was great (I looked like a super star during my car ride home and all that evening) and I went home happy. Fast forward to my wedding day. Linda arrived at the villa to do my makeup and the makeup of my sister, my maid of honor. She started with my sister and as she was working with her I heard Linda comfortably chatting with her while working. It set my mind at ease (wedding days are stressful!) and by the time I sat in the chair to start my own makeup I was already feeling much better about how the day would go. While she applied my makeup Linda laughed and joked with me and my cousin who casually asked her for makeup tips. It was such a relaxed, enjoyable time that by the time she was done beating my face it was like no time had passed. I looked in the mirror and was so happy! Linda had even remembered my penchant for a red lip, and even though we did a more subdued lip during the trial she gave me my red lip (and packed a red lip gloss and extra makeup wipes for the evening)! At the end of the night it rained and I danced and cried through my vows and when I tell you my face still looked amazing! People said I was glowing all night and even commented on it based on cell phone pictures. Someone even said I looked like a Disney princess. Needless to say, please choose Linda as your wedding day makeup artist!

I've had my makeup done several times and i wear makeup on a regular basis, she did a phenomenal job with my makeup, definitely the best I have seen, the attention to detail and the way it showed up on our pictures was amazing!! And it stayed on all day with no need to touch it up

LJ was great to work with. The makeup trial went well and she was responsive and answered all of my questions leading up to the wedding. On the day of, she was on time and professional. Everyone looked great and she was excellent at picking just the right colors. I look forward to using her for my next event and i would definitely recommend her for your wedding!

Working with Linda was a wonderful experience. She is professional, kind, and a really fun person to have share your "getting read" wedding experience. She made everyone feel comfortable and calm (and beautiful!). I am not someone who wears a lot of makeup and Linda made me feel so comfortable and the makeup she did looked elegant and natural.
