I had both my ceremony and reception at Embassy Suites Downtown and everything was beautiful. The rooms we used had large windows overlooking Hennepin ave. which added a nice city-feel our guests really enjoyed. We received so many compliments from our guests about the location itself, service among all hotel staff, the food, and banquet service. The food was a top priority for us and it was amazing! We sat down with Chef Mary to try a few options months leading up to the event and we were very impressed with everything she prepared. The banquet services was also excellent. My husband and I, along with our outside vendors, all complimented their attentiveness throughout the day - they really helped pull it all together for us! I worked directly with Lucille to help plan my day and she did a great job. She was responsive, helpful and accommodating weeks leading up to the wedding, and we really appreciated her always being available to answer our (many) questions. My husband and I, along with all of our guests, really enjoyed all aspects of this hotel. The location was convenient (located next to the light rail), event rooms were beautiful and unique, guest rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was great.Sent on 10/27/2017

Bruce and his team were great assets in planning and coordinating our large company holiday party. From offering ideas during our initial planning to making sure everything went smoothly during the event, Bruce was there every step of the way. He touched base with us regularly prior to the event, and offered ideas and suggestions to make sure our party was everything we imagined and more! I was especially impressed at how well he listened to our vision, and helped ensure that his team understood the "type of event" and "feel" we wanted. And despite that they were in the midst of opening the hotel when we started planning and our event was the first very large group they hosted, this was by far the best party we have hosted in several years!
