Elena did an absolutely gorgeous job on my wedding makeup. When I met her for my trial, she looked at some of my inspiration photos, asked questions about my dress and the wedding, and crafted an amazing look based on my ideas and her own expertise on what would suit me (and the overall vibe of my wedding) best. When the big day rolled around, she came prepared, on time and ready to do makeup for myself, my sister, my aunt and my friend. She finished everybody on schedule, all the while chatting with us and having fun. Getting ready rooms can be stressful but this one was so chill, due in large part to Elena exuding a capable air and just being cool to hang out with, and receptive to what each of us wanted. Elena impressed me with the gorgeous, dramatic eye makeup for my friend who loves a bold look, and she also made my elderly aunt look and feel beautiful as well. And I loved the vintage inspired look she created for me—it was just want I wanted (with the perfect amount of lashes that looked striking but not unnatural, something I appreciated in my photos). Very importantly, we all looked polished and special but still like ourselves, our best selves, which is key. My makeup stayed on point from noon until I got back to my hotel at midnight, too (and she provides you with a touch up which is so helpful). As someone who retouches wedding photos for a living, I can tell you that my skin didn’t need much post production work largely because the makeup was applied so well. Being creative, on time, friendly, able to think on their feet and delivering long wearing looks that were unique to our personalities are just a few things that make me positive it was the right call hiring Elena for my wedding. I would absolutely call again for any upcoming events I may have in the future.

Elena recently did my hair & makeup for my wedding. She is such a fun person and it felt natural to have her in the room with us while my bridal party was getting ready. She made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day! My wedding party & I partied all night and my makeup & hair still looked flawless the following morning(20+ hours later!). She also did my bridesmaid's hair & even helped them with their flower crowns & lashes. I didn't really know exactly what I wanted for my hair/makeup, so I just showed her some photos for inspiration and she was able to use her artistic eye to come up with something perfect for me!
