Ellen was our photographer for my parents 50th wedding anniversary on the beach while we vacationed in the area. We scheduled early in the week and due to weather had to reschedule for a couple of days later. Our original day was windy, Ellen called us up and said we should look at other days and oh my I am glad we listened to her. I thought, it's not raining, maybe we should just keep it. Ellen knows what she is talking about and knows what she is doing because the day we changed it to was perfect. Ellen was so accommodating and reassuring. (My story as mother of the bride:)
our couple got engaged in December and they wanted a destination beach wedding at Emerald Isle. So we found the beautiful Chateau of the Isle and it was available for the first week of April… yes 3 1/2 months!! Since we do not live in the area, we made some calls to see if we could pull off the perfect beach wedding with such a short timeframe. The first couple of calls to wedding coordinators were discouraging, they all said “no way”, but then I called Ellen and the tide turned. First, she answered the phone, (not a voicemail) then she said calmly- of course you can do this in 3 months, and here are some names of people who can help make this happen, and here are some things to be aware of, and lastly- “call me if I can help you”! Needless to say we booked the chateau and hired Ellen!
She knows her business, she is a professional, talented, kind, calm and adaptable- yes we flipped everything upside down at the last minute. She did not even blink! She also introduced us to the most incredible, organized and very kind coordinator, Heather, to assist us on the wedding day as well as the weeks before ! She kept everyone on track.
I am convinced that these two women can pull off the impossible! We would have been lost without them. We received our photos this week and they are stunning, technically and artistically. Ellen LeRoy should be your first call when planning your wedding small or large!
