I cannot say enough amazing things about Elle Artistry. Everyone should book their team! I was recommended to them by my wedding day photographer, and Elle Artistry was even better than I could have hoped for. Like a lot of 2020 brides, I had postponed my original wedding date 2 times and finally decided to have a small ceremony last minute. Because of all of the changes my original makeup team was unavailable, but Michelle helped me book my wedding with Alexandra, and I am BEYOND thankful. I didn't even have time for a trial run, but I sent some pictures ahead of time and Alexandra listened closely to everything I said I wanted. I have been a bridesmaid in 7 other weddings, and I can easily say Alexandra did my favorite makeup of all time! What as also impressive is that both my mom and the grooms mom also all loved their makeup just as much. We loved the application and how she enhanced our faces without making us look like we had makeup caked on or like we didn't look like ourselves. Michelle was extremely fast to respond and answered all my questions. Alexandra was on time, extremely nice and personable and brought everything from makeup to a makeup chair and lighting with her! She even made sure we all had "to-go" bags to touch up our makeup as the day/evening went on. From one person who has experienced a number of makeup artists, this is the best team I have ever worked with!

I had an amazing experience with Elle Artistry. Me, my bridesmaids, and my mother had hair and makeup done for my wedding and everybody looked STUNNING. My hair and makeup was absolutely gorgeous and even better than what I had envisioned. My stylists for my look were Katie and Brittany and they were truly incredible. On top of everybody looking amazing, the whole process went without a hitch. Scheduling was easy and any questions and concerns that I had were immediately addressed. I hired Elle Artistry for my wedding in September 2025 and they did not disappoint! Michelle and Taylor were super prompt and organized which made everything so seamless when booking and leading up to the wedding. They put together a day of schedule as well which was definitely needed for such a busy morning.
I did my own makeup but I had Isabel for my hair and she was phenomenal. I did two trials because I was so indecisive and she nailed both. Even after the two trials I still ended up changing my wedding hair slightly and she executed it perfectly and exactly like my photo/how I wanted. When she showed me the finished look, I literally had no notes, and it stayed flawless all day and night without a single touch-up.
Alexandra did the makeup for some of my bridesmaids and my mom, and everyone looked stunning. The looks were the perfect balance of natural and glam. Both artists were talented, punctual, and so lovely to have around on the morning of the wedding.

I actually found out about Elle Artistry through The Knot, after looking through so many of the hair and makeup recommendations from my wedding planner. Michelle and her team had SO many amazing reviews, so I decided to book them for my wedding in December. Michelle was so professional and kind during the planning process, making sure to work around my schedule to plan out when the previews would be. Everything was detailed and made it so easy for me, the bride, to work with her team! My hair and makeup artist even came to my apartment in Chicago for my previews when I told Michelle that I couldn't make it out to their studio (!!!). The previews were amazing and my hair and makeup artist both listened so intently to what my vision was for my December wedding and made tweaks based on my feedback, too. I don't tend to wear a lot of makeup to begin with, so I was looking for a very relaxed, natural and romantic look for my wedding day. And holy cow, did they deliver. The team was prompt and on-time for the wedding day, they were fun to talk to and personable, which made me so much more relaxed that morning. The products were incredible - my makeup stayed on the entire day and lasted all night and my hair looked relaxed and romantic like I wanted, but still didn't fall all night! Even in the bright sun and FREEZING wind for pictures, both my hair and makeup still looked amazing.
