I accidentally found Elizabeth and Vincent through a google search and the moment I saw their portfolio I knew they were it. There was no other option. While I sadly couldn't afford both of them, I wish I could've! Vincent was so professional and so accommodating! I hate posing for pictures and loved the concept of everything happening organically.

He was an absolute photo ninja and was everywhere at once. He got pictures of us and our bridal party, our family and friends, and even made sure to get pictures of the little details (flowers, cake, escort cards, cookie table). Every time I look at the slideshow they sent us, I start crying all over again.

Once we found the place to get married, our next priority was the right photographer. Once we saw some previous work from Elizabeth Vincent Photography, we knew they were exactly what we wanted. Neither of us are the kind of people that like to be in front a camera, so the thought of spending half our day posing sounded horrible. We wanted photos which captured the story of our day, and that is just what they did (they snuck in some fantastic portraits too). Our wedding was somewhat ethnic, and they did a fantastic job capturing some of our traditions. They were fun to be around when we were getting ready for the day, and then once the festivities began, they just blended into the crowd and were so unobtrusive. Their pictures were stunning and mean the world to us.

We serendipitously stumbled upon Elizabeth Vincent’s website about a year before our wedding and immediately knew that we had to have them as our wedding photographers. Their work was exactly what we never knew we wanted!—creative, different, real, natural, and absolutely gorgeous. Their photos really told the story of the couple, and we loved that. On top of that, both Elizabeth and Vincent have a ton of experience as photojournalists for newspapers. From looking at some of their sports-shots, we knew that capturing all of those fleeting wedding moments would be no problem for these two. When we met Elizabeth and Vincent for the first time, there was no question that we wanted both of them with us on the most important day of our lives. They felt immediately like old friends, and we were laughing and talking like we had known each other for years in a matter of a few minutes. I cannot say enough how important that is on your wedding day—to be comfortable and genuinely like your photographers really shows through in the photographs. For us, this became so important. Our wedding day in late April had rain, wind, limited time for photographs inside the church, and a dress snafu. What could have easily become stressful, high-anxiety situations were completely diffused by Elizabeth and Vincent, who were totally zen about everything and expertly managed time and all the little issues. After the wedding, Vincent suggested just my husband and I go to a covered spot for some portraits, which was just what we needed to relax and have a moment alone. Vincent was so good that he had captured everything we could ever hope for in probably 15 minutes or less. To see the photographs he took in that short amount of time, you would have thought we spent hours. We (and our families) were just blown away by the quality. Of course, some of our favorite photos were the ones we didn’t even realize were being taken. They were funny, poignant, creative, and captured who we really are. We were so comfortable with Elizabeth and Vincent, that we didn’t even notice them around most of the time. Vincent also stayed with us until the end of the reception, and let us tell you—he definitely WORKED! He was out on the dance floor taking shots from every angle, up above us taking shots of the whole crowd, and even seemed to manage being in 2 places at once (taking shots of cocktail hour with our guests and with us in a separate room). He also captured the little details we had missed during the wedding (e.g., the room set-up, the centerpieces, the cake, the escort cards, and so much more).

We had a lot of time to search around for photographers, and we probably looked through the portfolios of over 50 photographers in the area; we just couldn’t find exactly what we envisioned (real, natural, and beautiful), until we found Elizabeth Vincent. If you are looking for photographers who can do it all (portraits, the uncut stuff, and weave it all into your wedding “story”), Elizabeth Vincent is your man/woman! They are personable and professional, fun, honest, accountable, and just extremely talented. Having them as our wedding photographers/storytellers was probably one of the best decisions we’ve made, other than the decision to marry each other!

My husband and I booked Elizabeth and Vincent as our photographers for our wedding in 2010. They were amazing! Our wedding pictures are beautiful and still bring tears to my eyes. They captured the day perfectly.
My husband and I chose to see each other before the ceremony but asked them to capture it all. There were shots of me walking towards my husband and then the expression that they captured of my husband when he turned around and saw me for the first time is priceless. ☺ Before the wedding Vincent took pictures of the groomsmen getting ready, and Elizabeth was with me from the time I got my hair and makeup done through the ceremony. I highly recommend this, it’s really nice to be able to relive the whole day through photos, and that’s exactly what you get with Elizabeth Vincent Photography- a Story is told through their photos; all natural, nothing posed or redone because they missed a shot. They captured everything in the moment.

I have a disclaimer to make, Vincent is my husband's cousin. That being said, we are one of the luckiest couples ever! As Rob and I started planning the wedding his parents mentioned they had a photographer in the family. I didn't think much of it until I got on Vin and Liz's website and realized they were the real deal! I told Rob to call Vin ASAP before someone else booked them(and good thing we did bc they did have several requests afterwards). Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Vin until the wedding day, but I instantly felt comfortable with him. Rob and I called him the photography Ninja. He was dressed in black and would pop out of no where to snap great action shots and it seemed like he was everywhere! That man has a lot of energy! I'm currently picking out pictures for the wedding album and having a VERY hard time narrowing it down. Before the wedding, people would ask me if I was nervous hiring family to take our pictures, but Vin was so professional through out the entire process that I never had my doubts. Thank you Vin for doing such a wonderful job capturing our special day! P.S. Vin and Liz work fast to get your pictures back to you. Within 3 weeks we had our wedding slide show and wedding gallery posted.

You will NOT go wrong by hiring them! We LOVE our wedding pictures, and so do our friends and family! My wife and I had to plan our wedding while living in different states. She was stationed in Texas and I was station in Georgia, so personally interviewing photographers was logistically out of the question. So, I just sent email after email to photographers I seemed to like after looking at their websites. Being a military family, my wife and I had a strict photography budget that we needed to adhere to. Unfortunately, everyone who got back to my email requests for information usually started their responses with something the to the tune of, "I don't get out of bed for anything less than $X,XXX!" While I fully understand how difficult a photographer's job is (it's likely their full time job, after all!), the tone of the responses really irked me...until Vincent emailed me.

Vincent was humble, understanding, and incredibly wise! He and Elizabeth worked with our budget perfectly and did a fantastic job with everything. Vincent knows Heinz Chapel like the back of his hand and got some amazingly awesome shots (some in places he technically wasn't supposed to!).

Trust me, folks: if you hire Elizabeth Vincent you won't be getting just another vendor who you end up paying for an impersonal service. They really take pride in what they do and are concerned with what you want. Vincent would periodically show me and my wife some of the pictures he had taken, which I thought was thoughtful and just plain incredible.

Even if you're not in the Pittsburgh area I would definitely consider hiring them because they're that good! We now recommend Elizabeth Vincent Photography to all our friends for just about any occasion!

We can not thank them enough for doing such an incredible job capturing every moment of our wedding. The day went by so fast and now we have an album full of pictures that really tell a story of our special day. Every time we sit down and look at the pictures, we laugh, I cry, and we get to relive all of the amazing moments all over again. Our biggest issue right now is figuring out which pictures we want to print and frame. We have such a variety to choose from. Some are funny, like when my husband went to put the ring on the wrong hand (I can’t believe they caught that). Some are romantic, others are classic, and they were even able to get perfect portraits that my mom loved.

We are so grateful and extremely blessed that they were a part of our wedding day. They were so great to work with and unlike most photographers, they were able to get amazing shots without being noticed.
