Let me start by saying that Elegant tents and Catering are amazing ... I started using them for my wedding in 2005 ... My mom was losing Her battle with cancer so it was a very hard day for me and Jeff and the staff made my day so special ... People still talk about how amazing the food was... We have used them for our company's Christmas partys, our children's birthdays and many other occasions and everything is always amazing.... It is a family run business and they make you feel like part of the family! I highly recommend Elegent Tents and catering! I read some of the other reviews and I really don't know who these people are talking about because since day 1 they were professional, helpful, and always on time! If you choose them you won't be disappointed!

Elegant Catering did an amazing job! The staff at my wedding was so helpful! Maggie is the most helpful person they have on their team! She and the rest of the staff made sure everything was perfect for my day! The food was amazing! We had hot sausage, pulled pork, roasted potatoes, potato salad, salad, bread, baked beans, and mac & cheese. Everyone raved over how good the food is, and we arw still getting comments about it!

We hired Elegant for our tent company, not catering, and had a lot of rental items along with it. We had a 50x90' tent, chairs, tables, lighting, and more. They were wonderful the entire time working with them! Our wedding was June 9, 2012 and really enjoyed working with their staff through the set up the two days prior. They were on time, professional, and the tent and rentals were all in perfect condition. Thank you Elegant Tents!

It took months to get anyone from this company to respond to multiple calls and emails. They finally got back to me when my date was 6 months out. The appointment did not feel very professional, as if this were the first time they ever met someone to go over chair and tent rentals. I was told because of my summer date, I would have to pay the rental in full, regardless if I chose to cancel, since they would lose business to graduation parties. A week after I put my deposit down, I was called and told my request would be cancelled if I didn't pay a deposit. Luckily I made sure I saved my reciepts and used a credit card. There was no follow up once they had my money--no reminder or date given for final payment, no confirmation of delivery. Nothing. Also, my ceremony site seemed urked by this company and their lack of professionalism (would tell me one thing, and the site another). They got the tent delivered and set up without any problems, but this company definitely has room for improvement. Not very responsive or professional.

I rented linens, tables, and chairs from this vendor. Although the prices were very good and the initial meeting to set everything up went well, I was very disappointed with the service and treatment I received. This place is also a catering hall as well. Because I was not getting my food from them they pushed me to the bottom of the list. I would call and call to check balances and they would never return my call. On the day of my rehearsal dinner I was waiting and waiting for my tables to arrive to use them for the dinner. They were to arrive at 12, they came at 8pm well after the dinner and never called to say they were late.

We hired elegant catering for our wedding because they were recommended by our wedding site. I later found out that this is because the host at the wedding site is good friends with the owner of this catering company. I wish that we would have had the opportunity to change caterers. The food was great, and everyone raved about how good it was. This was not the problem. The problem was that they do not return phone calls. I called two weeks before my wedding, and then multiple times after, to give a final head count and to get my total price. They did not call me back until three days before the wedding, and then expected me to hurry up and run out there with a payment. This I could have dealt with. At the reception, the thing that really made me angry was that their staff cut the cake for us and put it out before all of our guests were even served their meal. We wanted to cut the cake and definitely wanted to wait until everyone had a chance to eat!!! I was very upset by this. They also had told us that our stations would be spread out around the area so that people would not have to wait in a long line. This also did not happen. People had to wait a very long time for their food and the whole serving process took a few hours. This should have been set up differently.
I would absolutely not use this catering company again, and would not recommend them to a friend. If you are considering using them, don't. Keep looking. Even though the food is good, their professionalism and service stinks.

At our venue the only catering option was Elegant Catering and it was horrid-they made promises & didn’t live up to expectations. Our schedule & expectations were made via email & verbally-we were assured that everything would be as planned by Joy & then Owner Jeff-who now won’t answer phone calls to try to make it right. We had the following issues: a leather couch & hutch were in the hall when they were to be removed-creating space issues for our photo booth; the double doors to the over river deck were sealed forcing entry from behind the bar-this is a main feature of the hall & now access is compromised; the food at our tasting was not the same as was served-fresh carrots versus canned mushy carrots; the bride’s drink was not at the bar upon arrival; the chef had to ask the bride if they should serve them & the guests-after they were already 45 minutes late serving dinner; our cake was never served to our guests but was placed on styrofoam plates w/plastic forks in the bar area-it was confirmed/assured cake would be served on china w/silverware to the guests; we picked up items Monday morning-including extra cake-only to have Joy call us 8+ hours later-while boarding our honeymoon flight-to tell us over half our cake was still at the venue & we need to come back for it. We lost over half our expensive cake b/c she didn’t serve it to our guests & then didn’t provide it when we came to pick it up. To say we are unhappy is an understatement-they just did whatever w/o regard to our agreements-did not fulfill the promises & assurances that were made during our planning consultations-working w/Elegant Catering is anything but elegant. If it wasn’t for our DJ and bridal party our reception would have been a disaster.
