From day one, when speaking with the owner of El Capitan, I knew this would be the right choice. Emma is this sweetest, kindest woman who worked with every aspect of our needs. We hadall types of guests who had different allergies and preferences. We needed appetizers, and entrees that would satisfy meat eaters, vegetarians, pescatarians, and celiacs (gluten free). Emma came up with a great meal design with a few options and was able to adapt to what we thought was best. We went to the restaurant where we were greeted with a big smile and happy staff to taste the menu that she came up with. We loved it. She was always responsive to any email or phone call throughout the entire process. Emma and her husband/partner (also extremely friendly), came out to the venue a week early to get a good understanding of the layout and what was exactly needed. They worked with us on the time frames to arrive to make sure there was no unnecessary commotion for their setup. We chose the buffet style option with an appetizer during cocktail hour. On the big day, they arrived with no fuss and set up a beautiful presentation. We had about 120 guest, and everyone raved about the food and experience. The entire staff was fast and friendly and helped make for a wonderful evening. It was an absolute pleasure to have El Capitan cater our wedding. The price was definitely in the right place, especially when getting other quotes from other vendors who didn't respond as quickly/kindly and who offered less. Emma and El Capitan know what they're doing. Listen to her suggestions and take them, because she knows her stuff. I would recommend them to anyone who's looking to make their event special and fun.
