Ed & Aileen were an absolute dream. We first started working with them mid-pandemic and a lot of our wedding plans had gone out the window: our date had changed (twice), our venue wasn’t set, our other vendors were uncertain. But Ed & Aileen were so flexible (and helpful!) throughout this super-stressful process. They were super responsive over email, very forthcoming with other vendor recommendations, and just a joy to get to know.

And the pictures! We absolutely loved our engagement photo session (we wanted some major Chicago vibes and boy did they deliver!) and loved getting to know Aileen despite the freezing cold Chicago weather. And our wedding day was nothing short of wonderful with them. Our families and bridal party talked about how cool and fun our photography team was, and we couldn’t agree more. It was truly a blast having Aileen with us all day. We are so pleased with the end result and will absolutely cherish these photos for the rest of our lives.

We worked with Ed and Chelsea for our wedding day - I cannot recommend these artists enough! We had originally planned for a 2021 wedding but with COVID we knew we had to postpone if wanted our day to be the epic party we wanted. While they did charge us a fee to reschedule, they were able to compensate us with upgraded services from our original quote and Ed was so wonderful through the whole process. In my mind, for these reasons and more it was absolutely worth every penny to have them for our wedding. They are so professional, kind and downright talented. So glad we hired them - cannot WAIT for our photos !

When we were looking for wedding vendors, photography was on the top of our list, followed by the wedding venue. We hoped to find a photographer who would capture the moments naturally and who we would feel comfortable and less awkward in front of the camera. Ed exceeded our expectations and was super amazing!!!!! Everyone at our wedding loved his energy and the way he worked; he is not only talented but is very sharp yet flexible.

We had our wedding postponed twice due to Covid and Ed and Aileen were the MOST caring and flexible vendor among all the vendors we hired- including the venue, DJ, event design, etc. As plans changed due to Covid, we decided to have a small church ceremony and then have the wedding event/reception on the postponed date. Ed captured the moments at the church ceremony the most beautiful way, even when there was less than 10 people. And the photos from our wedding event at the hotel venue turned out as if they were from a movie.!!

Ed and Aileen's photos are so LIVE and natural, and the photos turned out even more beautiful than how things actually looked in person. We absolutely loved every single thing about Ed and Aileen and would recommend them to all of our friends. We can't wait to hire them again for our next life event in the future. Ed & Aileen have been amazing since day one! They have been there to support us as we navigated planning a wedding and a small ceremony (thanks COVID!). Their flexibility and understanding made having to postpone our larger wedding that much easier. In addition to being amazing humans, the photos are also amazing! Ed shot our engagement session and small ceremony. He captured every moment and small detail perfectly! Not to mention he is great at getting kids to feel comfortable getting their picture taken. We can't say enough good things about working with Ed & Aileen Photography! Their professionalism and talent is unmatched. We, like many other "covid couples," had to change our wedding plans a couple times because of the ever-changing restrictions. Ed and Aileen were so helpful, flexible, and patient while we worked through all of the changes for our big day, and on our big day. Because we changed our date, our original photographer, Chelsea (who took our beautiful engagement photos), was no longer available. Karina was able to step in for the new date, and we loved her work, too! We were also totally surprised (and thrilled!) to hear that Ed would be helping her for the day. In September, when it was finally time to celebrate, they did an AMAZING job capturing how special our wedding truly was. Ed and Karina photographed the candid moments where our love and joy shined. We can't stop looking at the photos! They have given us an amazing gift: the opportunity to look back on the brightest moment of our lives so far, during a time that can feel shrouded in darkness. Planning a wedding during a pandemic in Chicago can be overwhelming for sure. The biggest challenge we encountered was finding the right photographer for us. We interviewed several different ones, I was beginning to lose hope, and then we found Ed & Aileen. Thank goodness we found them. Because we were having a very small intimate wedding, we chose to just have 1 photographer in the church with us which was Aileen. She was really easy to work with, she was organized, prompt, and definitely gave the proper attention to the details that were important to us for her to capture on our wedding day, 10/24/20. We cannot thank her enough for the incredibly beautiful photos she took. The candid shots are my absolute favorite because we can see the joy and love in our eyes. I cannot wait to make my wedding album and give photos as gifts to our family and friends.

Don’t think TWICE about hiring Ed & Aileen as your wedding photographers!!! We had both Ed and associate photographer Chelsea photograph our wedding, and the photos turned out so beautiful. You can tell how much thought and effort were put into the edits. So much talent!!!! Outside of their amazing skills, they are so fabulous to work with.
