Ed & Aileen are the best!
Ed & Aileen were an absolute dream. We first started working with them mid-pandemic and a lot of our wedding plans had gone out the window: our date had changed (twice), our venue wasn’t set, our other vendors were uncertain. But Ed & Aileen were so flexible (and helpful!) throughout this super-stressful process. They were super responsive over email, very forthcoming with other vendor recommendations, and just a joy to get to know.
And the pictures! We absolutely loved our engagement photo session (we wanted some major Chicago vibes and boy did they deliver!) and loved getting to know Aileen despite the freezing cold Chicago weather. And our wedding day was nothing short of wonderful with them. Our families and bridal party talked about how cool and fun our photography team was, and we couldn’t agree more. It was truly a blast having Aileen with us all day. We are so pleased with the end result and will absolutely cherish these photos for the rest of our lives.

We worked with Ed and Chelsea for our wedding day - I cannot recommend these artists enough! We had originally planned for a 2021 wedding but with COVID we knew we had to postpone if wanted our day to be the epic party we wanted. While they did charge us a fee to reschedule, they were able to compensate us with upgraded services from our original quote and Ed was so wonderful through the whole process. In my mind, for these reasons and more it was absolutely worth every penny to have them for our wedding. They are so professional, kind and downright talented. So glad we hired them - cannot WAIT for our photos ! -

We can't say enough good things about working with Ed & Aileen Photography! Their professionalism and talent is unmatched. We, like many other "covid couples," had to change our wedding plans a couple times because of the ever-changing restrictions. Ed and Aileen were so helpful, flexible, and patient while we worked through all of the changes for our big day, and on our big day. Because we changed our date, our original photographer, Chelsea (who took our beautiful engagement photos), was no longer available. Karina was able to step in for the new date, and we loved her work, too! We were also totally surprised (and thrilled!) to hear that Ed would be helping her for the day. In September, when it was finally time to celebrate, they did an AMAZING job capturing how special our wedding truly was. Ed and Karina photographed the candid moments where our love and joy shined. We can't stop looking at the photos! They have given us an amazing gift: the opportunity to look back on the brightest moment of our lives so far, during a time that can feel shrouded in darkness. We are so thankful we chose to work with Ed & Aileen Photography, and we highly recommend them to any couple who is planning their wedding! -

Don’t think TWICE about hiring Ed & Aileen as your wedding photographers!!! We had both Ed and associate photographer Chelsea photograph our wedding, and the photos turned out so beautiful. You can tell how much thought and effort were put into the edits. So much talent!!!! Outside of their amazing skills, they are so fabulous to work with. One of the most responsive, organized, and accommodating vendors we had. Their work speaks for itself, but partnering with them throughout the wedding process was also such a pleasure. Thank you Ed & Aileen team for the best wedding (& engagement!) photos!!!!! -

Working with Ed & Aileen has been a truly wonderful experience, even through a pandemic. Chelsea photographed our engagement session and our wedding, and we are so, so happy with her work! She has a genuine and down to earth personality that really put us at ease. During all of the crazy Covid cancelling and rescheduling, Ed was extremely supportive, professional, and flexible. Aileen even surprised us at our wedding and helped out for a couple of hours. She is amazing. We are thrilled with our wedding photos and can't stop looking at them. They perfectly capture the extra special day we finally got to have. We are so happy we got to work with Ed & Aileen + Chelsea. -

Best Decision EVER
Do yourself a favor and hire Ed & Aileen for EVERYTHING you possibly can. We used them for photography, videography and our photo booth! We were (and still are) completely blown away. Choosing a photographer was one of the most difficult decisions we had throughout the wedding process. As a couple who lives on Instagram, we wanted our pics/video to not only be post-worthy but to capture who we are and allow us to re-live our wedding day forever. And OH MY GOD did they deliver. Ed, Aileen and their team are beyond talented, professional and fun to work with. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which we thought would be an impossible task. As soon as we got our engagement pics back we knew we made the best decision ever. We can’t even begin to explain how easy they made our wedding day. They were so organized and made bridal party pics a BLAST. At the end of the night we were so impressed with how much they were on the dance floor with us, yet didn’t feel like they were in the way once. Our pictures and videos are absolutely DIVINE. We are so obsessed and can’t stop looking at them. We don’t know how they do it but they way they edit pictures makes them stand out from the rest. Every photo in our gallery can be described as epic or dreamy. And we have the best candid shots EVER. We had SO many people reach out to us to say how incredible our pictures turned out. And we could not agree more. If we have one piece of advice for anyone planning a wedding, it would be INVEST in Ed & Aileen. They are worth every freaking penny!! :) -

Where do I begin?... Ed & Aileen are freaking INCREDIBLE!
To start, they are both amazing humans -- so sweet, fun and easy to work with. My husband and I never had a professional shoot taken before, so we were a little nervous before taking our engagement photos. Aileen made it so fun, by the end we forgot there were tons of people staring at us!
My favorite thing about Ed & Aileen Photography is their knack for candid shots. They are all about the fun and just being yourself. This is what sold us on them, the second we saw their photos we knew we HAD to work with them.
Planning anything with them was super simple and easy. No waiting around for days or weeks at a time to get a response. They were by far our favorite vendors. So much so that 2 of my friends are using them for their weddings next year!
USE ED & AILEEN PHOTOGRAPHY, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! They are modern day photography super heroes!
We love you guys!! Thank you so much for capturing our big day. We are so incredibly grateful to have these amazing photos and videos to look back on for the rest of our lives -

Ed and Aileen are PHENOMENAL. We love our wedding pictures so so much and they were so great to work with! They very much put us at ease so that we could feel comfortable with them throughout our engagement session and wedding. I reached out to Ed pretty early on in my search. He was one of my favorite vendors to work with! He eased all my worries about the lightening in my venue. A few days before my wedding coronavirus hit and things started shutting down. We had to rework the whole photography schedule since most of the locations we could no longer go to. He was so easy to work with and took charge when I needed him the most! If you’re looking for a fun photographer who catches those “action shots” these are your guys! -

Aileen shot both our engagement photos and wedding and we couldn't be happier with our decision to hire her. Not only is she easy to work with, but she made us feel perfectly comfortable from the start. The quality of the photos are excellent and perfectly capture our emotions throughout the day (she even caught a teardrop in midair!). Our photos have a very pure, authentic feel to them that you just don't get with every photographer. Aileen was also extremely helpful in forming and managing our wedding timeline as well as providing guidance on photo locations. We couldn't recommend her enough! -

Ed and Aileen have been incredible from start to finish. We were looking for vendors who would make our day feel warm and relaxed and they absolutely did, while still managing to keep everyone and everything moving on schedule. I was a total dunce about everything and they kindly answered every one of my questions. I love that they include engagement shoots in their wedding packages because it was a really wonderful way to get to know them and get more comfortable with the camera. And let's talk about the photos. Holy cow. I swipe through all of them several times a day and they make me smile and occasionally cry every time. All of the photos look so natural and I feel like they really captured who we are. They are truly stunning. Photography was one of our highest priorities for our wedding because it's one of the pieces you get to keep forever! I feel so lucky to have worked with them and to have these incredible photos. -

You know how most folks say "I want to look like myself, but better" when it comes to their wedding look? Ed & Aileen capture that in photo form. Their team is also a joy to work with! We primarily worked with Ed throughout our engagement shoot and at our wedding, and he was so professional and really put us at ease so we could relax and be ourselves. He also has a great sense of humor and was a lot of fun to work with!
The day of our wedding, Ed kept everything running smoothly and ahead of schedule. We were able to get some amazing shots on the LaSalle Street bridge right before it started pouring. I don't know which weather app he uses, but we were able to dodge the rain perfectly and still get some amazing pictures. He came up with a Plan B seemingly on the spot! Also, pictures can notoriously take a long time, and he and his team did an incredible job getting ahead of schedule (with rain, too!).
Not only will you end up with beautiful documentary-style photos of your wedding/engagement shoot, but you will also feel like YOURSELF. Some of our favorite pictures were unexpected ones of us just being ourselves.
Ed & Aileen deliver beautiful photos. But they capture the real heart of the event, too, and it takes a real artist to do that. Cannot recommend more highly! -

User3361779 Sent on 12/23/2017This review is long overdue from our summer of 2016 engagement shoot. We originally were only able to have one of them for the session but due to some scheduling miracle, both of them became available and showed with cameras to our surprise! They put up with my multiple (awful) requests, worked over hours, drove us around downtown Chicago all with smiles and giggles. Seriously, I know I'm hard to work with but this cute pair never let it show. My now husband and I had so much fun with them, it felt like they were our friends the entire time. Their turnaround time is impeccable (sneak peak on social media the next day + one week earlier than the last day written on contract). Due to our wedding being on the other coast, we did not choose to work with Ed & Aileen but would probably have appreciated having their professionalism around. -

Aileen has great attention to detail, is so fun to be around and can provide direction when needed but was also open to ideas from us about the photos we wanted to have. Ed & Aileen as a couple are literally two of the most adorable people in the world and they also work so well together to make this process as seamless as possible. The photos are absolutely breathtaking!

Kelsey Sent on 02/18/2017Our story with Ed & Aileen is a special one, almost as if it was fate. We got engaged in Feb. of 2016 and booked our venue the very next month for our 9/17/17 wedding. I took to a wedding planning subreddit on Reddit to share a picture and express my happiness with this dream come true, only to be met with the most amazing offer from Ed & Aileen Photography.
We took a chance on them, their professionalism, and their amazing reviews everywhere on the internet. I can say with confidence it was our best wedding decision made to date, and we haven't even had our wedding yet!
Aileen contacted me on a Facebook over the fall to tell me of a wedding they had coming up in our area. They wanted to meet with my fiance and I to do a little engagement shoot and get to know us, our personalities, and overall mannerisms around the camera (which are horrible by the way, we dodge our picture being taken like some shit out of the Matrix). Unfortunately for us, an engagement shoot just wasn't something we had planned for in our budget, especially since we're in the midst of paying for a wedding AND BUILDING our first and forever home, but we were over-the-moon happy to meet up with them and take them out to dinner while they were here.
But no, Ed & Aileen weren't having that. THEY DID AN ENGAGEMENT SHOOT FOR US FOR FREE. FREE! They took time out of their schedule, probably drove an extra 294822 miles to get to us, and spent money on gas to do a engagement session, for us, for free.
We did the session on our newly purchased 6 acres of Massachusetts wilderness, with a miniature replica of the house we're building and the vivid visions of our future life there. We had our sneak peak the very next day.
And I cried <3
