We met over coffee before my wedding where she was so kind and personable; she helped me bring to life the pictures I wanted captured of our wedding day into a game plan. She is so easy to get along with and in addition to taking beautiful pictures of our wedding, she was always checking in with me to see if I needed anything. I cannot recommend her enough!! Hiring Kat was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding at Jenne Farm on Whidbey Island. My husband and I had different ideas of what we wanted for our photography. I wanted grand landscape images and he wanted raw emotion, unposed images. We talked Kat through our wants and provided her with sample photos. Wow, she absolutely delivered. Within days of our wedding, she provided 37 photos and we were blown away. She completely understood what we wanted and the end result is absolutely gorgeous!!!

Kat was actually the first vendor I hired after my husband and I became engaged. We had talked to a few photographers, but after a phone call with Kat, that was that. She has a very kind, warm energy that she brings to her shoots. Kat's also just a lot of fun in general! Which is why I liked her so much. That and her photos are gorgeous. She and our Day-of Coordinator really had our event down to a science, with some wiggle room for when we asked to talk to our guests a bit longer or have our moment alone after the ceremony. Kat had many affirming words for all of us throughout the day, too!

I'll let Kat's work speak for itself, but she sent us around 40 images after the wedding, rather than her usual 5-12 because we had been working together for so long! She is the sweetest person and had many kind words for us about our wedding. Definitely hire this lady! You won't regret it!

Wow, where do I even start? Kat is such an amazing photographer to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a phenomenal photoshoot! Her attention to even the smallest detail and willingness to listen to what I wanted, made me feel so comfortable and confident that she was going to beautifully capture all of the most special moments. We hired Kat for 4-5 hours and she ended up staying for about 8 hours to make sure she got all the photos we want! She never looked at the clock, she was one of the last people to leave. Even before the wedding she was quick to respond, so sweet and so so helpful. I will recommend her to everyone looking for a photographer! Thank you Kat for making our wedding an amazing day!! Kat did more for us than I anticipated. We met with Kat a week before the wedding over coffee to discuss our plans and what we had in mind for the day. Coming into it we had almost nothing planned. She was very thorough and asked questions like "are there any people you feel would be best to avoid putting together?" and "what kind of pairing are you hoping to see?" and "are there any sides and angles you do and don't like to see in a photo?" etc.
After our meeting, I felt a lot more relieved because things seemed to fall into place for us. But I had no idea just how incredible the day would turn out because of our amazing photographer!

My husband moved from Germany to be with me, so his family needed to fly over for the wedding. His and my family both have a language barrier and never met before - so you can imagine that a wedding such as ours would have been stressful and awkward on many levels. Fortunately for us, Kat has an incredibly positive and attractive personality! She ended up being an ice breaker for us that left both of our families smiling and laughing together throughout the entire photo shoot and forgot that there was a language barrier in the first place. She was definitely a miracle worker for us!

As a side note, I personally felt awkward and insecure about being the center of attention. I was not looking forward to the wedding. I really owe it to Kat for getting me through the day and helping me enjoy it as any bride should!

As for her responsiveness and quality of work, it blew my mind. We got her sneak peak photos the evening after the wedding, and I must say I was more than thrilled. I never liked photos of me as much as I liked Kat's photos. Instead of never wanting to see them again as with any typical photo, I now want to frame and be able to see them all the time! She really captured us and our happiness that day which I will always remember when looking at them. I am truly happy and privileged to have asked Kat to be the photographer at our wedding!
