Hiring Kat was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding at Jenne Farm on Whidbey Island. My husband and I had different ideas of what we wanted for our photography. I wanted grand landscape images and he wanted raw emotion, unposed images. We talked Kat through our wants and provided her with sample photos. Wow, she absolutely delivered. Within days of our wedding, she provided 37 photos and we were blown away. She completely understood what we wanted and the end result is absolutely gorgeous!!!
Working with Kat was an absolute joy. She is such a fun person. She bantered with our guests and had people laughing, smiling, and enjoying the photo sessions. She felt more like a friend than someone we hired. Her words of affirmation throughout the wedding prep, the moments leading up to the wedding, and during the event were greatly appreciated. Hire Kat. Look no further. She's a spectacular photographer and you want her behind the camera on your special day. -

I am so happy with East to West Images - Kat was utterly amazing. We met over coffee before my wedding where she was so kind and personable; she helped me bring to life the pictures I wanted captured of our wedding day into a game plan. She is so easy to get along with and in addition to taking beautiful pictures of our wedding, she was always checking in with me to see if I needed anything. I cannot recommend her enough!! When she says "friend with a lens," she truly means it. Kat is the best!! She was punctual, professional, and truly exceeded my expectations. I am so thankful we found her as she did an amazing job of capturing the perfect blend of posed and candid pictures that will help us commemorate our wedding for years and years to come! -

Kat was actually the first vendor I hired after my husband and I became engaged. We had talked to a few photographers, but after a phone call with Kat, that was that. She has a very kind, warm energy that she brings to her shoots. Kat's also just a lot of fun in general! Which is why I liked her so much. That and her photos are gorgeous. She and our Day-of Coordinator really had our event down to a science, with some wiggle room for when we asked to talk to our guests a bit longer or have our moment alone after the ceremony. Kat had many affirming words for all of us throughout the day, too!
I'll let Kat's work speak for itself, but she sent us around 40 images after the wedding, rather than her usual 5-12 because we had been working together for so long! She is the sweetest person and had many kind words for us about our wedding. Definitely hire this lady! You won't regret it! -

You know how to capture both the little and small moments of magic. ✨ You also know how to make your muse/models/couples feel so seen, loved, and energized. You go above and beyond in the duties required of a photographer and I appreciate that a lot. Would 100/10 recommend! -

Kat has a very unique way of making someone feel special and loved which is why she was the perfect person to do my photos. Her glowing light radiates through every word she speaks and into her photography for capturing the right perspective in each moment. Kat was actually invited to my wedding as a guest. When there was a mix-up with my photographer she stepped up and took the most beautiful photos. I am seriously obsessed with them. This girl will be there when you need her. She will doing everything in her power to make sure your event is documented in the most beautiful light. In addition she is great at working with the friends and family who are a part of your big day. I especially love that she has a specific style. Her photos are beautiful with a little edge to them. Kat avoids the tendency a lot of photographers have to overly edit images to the point they look fake. Her images are quality from the time she snaps the first pic. Do yourself a favor and hire her.
