I got married last month and used Heather as my wedding photographer. I also did a boudoir shoot with her prior to my October wedding. Heather is very energetic and extremely passionate about her work; because of this, she is very easy to work with and goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs.

I spent hours looking for a wedding photographer. What I personally liked about Heather, is the almost antique rustic feel to her photographs. This style was very fitting for my horse farm wedding. At the same time, I really love bright and high contrast photos. Heather made sure when delivering my wedding proofs that she implemented both of the styles that I addressed during our multiple discussion.

In addition, my boudoir session with Heather went amazing. I had a very specific vision... I wanted my boudoir session to be set in a very industrial setting. Heather went ahead and secured a location for the shoot instantly after I showed her photos of my vision. Without her contact, I would not have been able to execute the look I was hoping for. My boudoir photos came out perfectly and the lighting was amazing. Even my makeup artist who is extremely well known in DC and has even done work for the Oprah magazine, etc. said that my boudoir photos were the best she has ever seen.

Heather is a hoot. The groom hates to be in front of the camera, yet she put him so at ease. Everyone loves the photographs; they are wonderfully composed and very artful. Not run of the mill wedding photo layout at all. Heather is a blast to work with, and a true pleasure to business with.

Choosing Dreaming Tree Studios and Heather to shoot our wedding was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. Photography was important to me for our wedding, but I tend to be a little camera shy. Heather immediately put me at ease and really worked with me to help me feel comfortable in front of the camera. She went above and beyond and made it her goal to get me ready for the wedding. We chose her because her body of work was so beautiful, understated and well-executed, but we got a bonus of working with a really fantastic lady. She's super friendly, personable and hilarious. We were so blessed to be connected to her for our wedding photography, she was also accommodating of our wedding budget as young couple starting out with mostly help from our family and friends. We really appreciate her and her photography business, she is very cool woman with a great personality. Our wedding was at a church, which thankfully did not scare her away! She was very accommodating and pleased to be helping us, she was accepting of our more traditional arrangement.
