  Beautiful photography, excellent communication, awesome and laid back photographer

  Heather with Dreaming Tree Studios made us feel like a million bucks on our wedding day. Her service is spectacular and organized. She helped us to smile to relax on our busy wedding day. When we received our photographs we were ecstatic at how gorgeous they turned out! We were so blessed to be connected to her for our wedding photography, she was also accommodating of our wedding budget as young couple starting out with mostly help from our family and friends. We really appreciate her and her photography business, she is very cool woman with a great personality. Our wedding was at a church, which thankfully did not scare her away! She was very accommodating and pleased to be helping us, she was accepting of our more traditional arrangement. Our reception was at the Civic Club of Harrisburg and she got so many awesome pics of us in the courtyard! Thanks Heather! I would highly recommend Dreaming Tree Studios.

  Heather is a wonderful person and an outstanding photographer!

  Heather Shelley of Dreaming Tree Studios is an amazing photographer! Every experience we had with her was a very comfortable one. She has a way to make you feel at ease and make the photography session fun! We loved our engagement and wedding photos! Heather was able to capture special moments between people and the whole event of our wedding day! We got so many compliments from everyone we shared our photos with! My husband and I will for sure be having Heather help us in the future to capture more memorable moments for us!

  Memories to Last a Lifetime!

  In my line of business I work with a lot of event vendors... musicians, caterers, serving staff, and photographers, etc. Over that time, no vendor has ever succeeded my expectations more than Heather at Dreaming Tree Studios.
  
  From the moment she arrived to the end of the night when she left, she was 100% committed to making sure we left the day with the visual representation of what our day meant to us.
  
  We only spoke a few times via email before the wedding, and that’s why I am still so incredibly stunned how perfectly she captured our family and the love we have for one another. These photographs are true treasures for us to hold onto for a lifetime! During the wedding she was engaged, friendly, spunky, and warm to all those around us. She was flexible, allowed me to express all of my wishes, and was just... so fun and trustworthy to be around.
  
  We loved her so much that when we were looking for a photographer for our daughter’s senior photos, we called her right away!
  
  If you are looking for someone in the Central PA that you can trust with your most important life events, take a peak at her work!

  We had Heather to shoot out wedding on Aug 18, 2018 and she provided an outstanding quality of service! She has amazing stealth skills so I did not even see her during the ceremony but she was definitely there as the camera has shown :-) Very quick, professional and on top of things! The photos quality is so great, I could not be happier :-)

  Everything about working with Heather was a pleasure! She made our wedding day easy and enjoyable. Her photos are gorgeous, but working with her was about so much more than this! We met before the wedding and went over the plan, questions, and she gave us peace of mind about our big day.
  On the wedding day, she arrived early, which alleviated any anxiety as the bride. She pinned my husband's boutonniere on, she helped me get dressed, and she rolled with all the punches of the day and the personalities involved.

  Heather is a wonderful photographer, and we are so glad to have gotten to know her and gained her as a friend after our engagement and wedding sessions. Heather makes everyone feel very comfortable, and we didn't have to stress over anything! She was one of the first to arrive in the morning and one of the last ones there, capturing every moment in between. The photos are beautiful and perfect, and she did not miss a single beat. She and I did an impromptu boudoir bridal session right before the first look, and it was one of the best parts of my wedding day!   Stop looking for other photographers right now. Heather is the best you will ever find.
  
  Heather is by far one of the best vendors I've ever worked with for any service in my life. On a scale of 0-5, we would give heather a 20. No Joke. Usually, we're not the type of people to write a review, but we knew we HAD to write a review for Heather.
  
  We worked with her for our wedding photos. Not only is she a funny, friendly, compassionate person, but she is also an amazing photographer. She will tell you exactly how to stand and how to smile. Her photos are gorgeous. Additionally, she will round up all the members of our party/family to keep them in check. During the reception, she was basically invisible. We had no idea where she was taking pictures from, but she has tons of candid pictures to help you remember how the whole day and night went.

  Stop looking for other photographers right now. Heather is the best you will ever find.

  My husband and I absolutely ADORE Heather! She made us feel extremely comfortable right from the beginning. She is so fun and easy to talk to/ work with. She did our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and we've gotten so many compliments! She captured so many beautiful photos and really captured how amazing our day was. She was completely willing to go to a special location for our engagement photos, even dealing with sticks and bushes to get all the right shots. She has amazing ideas, and we trusted her completely and followed her lead. It's so important to feel comfortable with your photographer because you will spend a lot of time with them and you want to have fun and enjoy everything. We would recommend Heather to anyone who is getting married! She's the best!

  Heather was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding! She made the engagement shoot so much fun and provided us with a ton of great pictures! Then she went out to our venue a week or two before the wedding day to check out the area and lighting! I thought that was just awesome. She was great the whole day and captured every moment beautifully. We got the pictures back super quickly and had such a good time going through them. THANK YOU!!

  Choosing a wedding photographer is one of the most important choices you make for you wedding day. They are the pictures you will look at for the rest of your life and they let you re-live your big day. Heather was the absolute best wedding photographer I could have picked. She was so much fun and so professional to work with. She kept me on schedule for the wedding and had wonderful ideas for beautiful pictures. She captured so many amazing memories that I will now be able to charish for a lifetime! I will definitely be using her for any other photo shoots that I will need in the future.

Heather tested the lighting at our venue and sought out places for pictures beforehand. She also got along really well with other vendors and guests at the wedding.   Our engagement and wedding pictures came out beautifully! Heather knew the venue well and had put a lot of thought into which areas of the property would provide the best picture opportunities. We couldn't have been happier with how our pictures came out.

  I got married last month and used Heather as my wedding photographer. I also did a boudoir shoot with her prior to my October wedding.   I spent hours looking for a wedding photographer. What I personally liked about Heather, is the almost antique rustic feel to her photographs. This style was very fitting for my horse farm wedding. At the same time, I really love bright and high contrast photos. Heather made sure when delivering my wedding proofs that she implemented both of the styles that I addressed during our multiple discussion.
  
  In addition, my boudoir session with Heather went amazing. I had a very specific vision... I wanted my boudoir session to be set in a very industrial setting. Heather went ahead and secured a location for the shoot instantly after I showed her photos of my vision. Without her contact, I would not have been able to execute the look I was hoping for. My boudoir photos came out perfectly and the lighting was amazing. Even my makeup artist who is extremely well known in DC and has even done work for the Oprah magazine, etc. said that my boudoir photos were the best she has ever seen.

  Choosing Dreaming Tree Studios and Heather to shoot our wedding was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. Photography was important to me for our wedding, but I tend to be a little camera shy. Heather immediately put me at ease and really worked with me to help me feel comfortable in front of the camera. She went above and beyond and made it her goal to get me ready for the wedding. We chose her because her body of work was so beautiful, understated and well-executed, but we got a bonus of working with a really fantastic lady. She's super friendly, personable and hilarious. Several of our wedding guests commented to us how hard she was working, but also how sweet she was. When we got our photos back, I was blown away by how wonderfully she captured the beauty and emotion of our day. I'd get married again just to have Heather photograph it!

  Heather from Dreaming Tree Studios is fantastic! She is always available when we had questions or needed to discuss anything. She is very helpful and takes the most beautiful pictures. I absolutely could not make it through the day without her. She is very personable and caring, and sweet. I could describe her in many words, but she is just AWESOME! Her work is breath taking and she takes her time. She organized everything very well. I am not photogenic either, and she managed to capture some really beautiful shots of me! You will absolutely love her!!

  Heather is a hoot. The groom hates to be in front of the camera, yet she put him so at ease. Everyone loves the photographs; they are wonderfully composed and very artful. Not run of the mill wedding photo layout at all. Heather is a blast to work with, and a true pleasure to business with.

Her photography is beautiful, simple, authentic and timeless. We were nervous and giddy before the ceremony, but Heather was able to put us at ease and help us relax during our first look pictures. Our wedding was at home and she was able to work her way through our small house and property without a problem. She captured tons of fantastic, memorable shots of us, our families and guests at both the ceremony and reception without being obtrusive or obvious. Several people commented, "I barely noticed your photographer at all!" Not only was she mindful to get pictures of us, but also of important moments throughout the day. I am so glad we trusted Heather with our wedding photography. She captured the energy, essence, joy and love of our day perfectly.
