I had a fantastic wedding and thanks to the help of Dream Design Events, LLC. DeDe was great to work with, she is reliable and always eager to help. The best part is once I decide who my vendors were and what time frame I like everything to be executed, DeDe, made sure everything went smoothly. She confirmed all my vendors and made sure they knew what time and what all needs to be done. I did not have to do anything on my wedding day because she made sure everyone and everything was coordinated as I asked. She was fabulous and she was easy to work with. Thanks DEDE!!!Sent on 10/14/2015

Dede was very responsive and flexible. She went out of her way to be helpful. I'm very appreciative of the work she put into my wedding. I used her for "day of" wedding services only but I couldn't have done it without her. She helped pull together all of my vendors and made sure everything was ready to go when my guests arrived for the reception.Sent on 12/14/2014

We had a large (225 guests) outdoor country wedding and Dede was absolutely overwhelmed and communication with her was difficult. Our vision for the reception was expressed to her over and over and when it appeared she did not comprehend, it caused anxiety. Her creativity is limited but she did complete the tables with specific instructions and drawings from my daughter, the bride. They looked beautiful momentarily while the sun was still up. The primary downfall of the evening was lighting which was essential and limited staff. Instead of admitting she was incapable of hanging lights properly and hire more help, our reception lacked quality lighting. She had adequate time to figure out the number of light strands needed for the area, which she figured too low, and then how to hang them. She waited until close to 1pm on the day of the wedding to start assembling the commercial grade outdoor lights I purchased with a marginal size team of 4 women. It required so much more. A quality event manager would either steer this young couple away from an evening wedding because of the complexity of it, prepare a whole lot better or admit the job is out of her scope of qualifications. We hired her for comprehensive services but the for the most part, my daughter did all of the legwork (finding flowers, caterer, cake, photographer, DJ, venue...) When things went awry, she basically checked out lacking the ability to execute. Our bridal party had to jump in as coordinators and servers. She also assured us she'd move the gift card box, however, they were stolen along with a large box of sparklers indicating staff involvement. Apart from wedding day set up, she only secured chairs and dinnerware at a 30% discount. That's it. Because we, parents of the bride, were out of town, it was difficult to keep a beat on the pulse of what was going on until it was too late. She was introduced to my daughter through a 3rd party but we should have shopped around.Sent on 10/06/2016
