Shayna is the business manager and one half of Perfectly Planned Events, as well as assistant to our designer. She is a business school graduate and long time business owner with 20+ year of small business management experience. Shayna's role is to support our designer and our clients, serve as a point of contact for the company and ensure that everything runs seamlessly for each and every event. Her goal is to provide exceptional customer service and make our couples feel like part of the family.

Joshua is our wedding designer and planner, a Certified Event Planner, Certified Wedding Planner, and one half of Perfectly Planned Events. He is a long-time wedding designer/planner who's style and eye for tasteful and elegant decor has made him the go-to wedding planner for friends and family for decades. He has experience with religious and non-religious weddings as well as a great deal of experience with LGBT weddings. He is even ordained to perform ceremonies.

Joshua's wedding designs are never cookie cutter. He prides himself on crafting unique, one-of-a-kind wedding designs that you won't see anywhere else. He does this partly by handmaking elements of the decor so that they are truly special and unlike anything you will find anywhere else. You might say that is our trademark or calling card...Joshua's lovingly and carefully crafted handmade decor.

He takes the time to speak with each couple in detail and get to know them on a personal level. He doesn't stop at prefabricated questionnaires, but instead prefers to sit down, face-to-face, with couples and speak with them as though they are friends, because they are...or they will be by their wedding date! And, he will plan your wedding as though he is your best friend, where every single detail is equally as important as the last.

Joshua is also exceptional at wedding management. He thrives under pressure and is a quick problem solver who thinks outside of the box to handle those inevitable last minute foibles, although we also work very hard to minimize those to the greatest extent possible. He is always prepared with a tool box that contains anything we could possible need to deal with any situation that arises. So, you can rest assured that when you hire us to plan your wedding, you're hiring a company that will truly handle the stress for you before and during your big day.
