Perfectly Planned Events is owned and operated by partners Shayna Gatzke, a business school graduate with 20+ year of business management experience, and Joshua MaC, a Certified Event Planner and Certified Wedding Planner with 15+ years of wedding and event planning experience. Together, we craft timeless memories down to the last detail. Let us make your wedding everything you want it to be and more.

First and foremost, we listen to our clients and find connections that result in more than working relationships, but also in friendships. Therefore, when we plan your wedding, we are literally planning a wedding for a friend, with the same level of care and attention. We personalize your big day, down to the very last detail. We delight in surprising you with small personal touches in the design or the extras that make our brides feel cherished and our grooms feel pampered and appreciated. We are not satisfied with simply meeting expectation. We always strive to exceed them and give our clients our very best, every time.

Our couples enjoy exceptional customer service, with support by text, phone or email from day one. We are very responsive and pride ourselves in answering questions and resolving issues in a timely manner and to the complete satisfaction of our clients. Our full service package price includes the complete list of a la carte times, but it doesn't just stop there. We will happily provide any service that our couples require, most within the price of the package. Plus, couples who opt for our full service package may select a free ad-on to include in their package.

Perfectly Planned Events LLC is an event design and management agency that allows couples the freedom to choose their level of participation in the planning process. We offer end-to-end event management services for couples who prefer a more hands-off approach, covering consultation, design, and coordination. Couples who want to play a more active role in shaping their event can take advantage of the a la carte menu. The options give them the flexibility to create a customized event planning package with options like guest list management and venue search.

If I could give less than one star, I would. Hiring Perfectly Planned Events was one of the biggest regrets of our wedding planning process. From the very beginning, it was clear they had no interest in seeing or executing our vision. Instead of being collaborative and supportive, they came across as rude, dismissive, and extremely standoffish—not just to me as the bride, but to my wife, our families, friends, and even our other vendors.

Despite their claims, they were nowhere near hands-on. In fact, I was left to bring my own vision to life with the help of my wedding party and other amazing vendors who stepped up. The planners were contractually obligated to be at our rehearsal the day before, but they were nowhere to be found—jeopardizing our ability to even have a rehearsal at all. On the actual wedding day, they didn’t show up until five minutes before the ceremony, which is absolutely unacceptable.

Even more frustrating, they told other vendors that they “don’t do weddings”—something that completely contradicts what we were told when we hired them. They also promised access to a warehouse full of décor items, which turned out to be nonexistent, and a breakfast as part of our package that was never provided.

My wife and I have never been more disappointed in a service we paid for. What should have been one of the most joyful experiences was marred by the unprofessionalism and lack of care from this team. I would strongly caution anyone considering Perfectly Planned Events for their big day—look elsewhere.
