Downtown Aquarium is an entertainment and dining complex and wedding venue located in Denver, Colorado. With a massive shark and fish tank, a beautifully appointed ballroom, and an award-winning culinary team, Downtown Aquarium is dedicated to making your wedding day an elegant, refined affair.

Facilities and Capacity
Newly expanded, Downtown Aquarium features 18 acres of entertaining and educational event space. Downtown Aquarium houses over 500 species of animals and showcases a 150,000 gallon shark and fish tank. With hand-painted ceilings and beaded chandeliers, the Nautilus Ballroom seats 250 guests, and accommodates up to 500 guests for standing receptions. For smaller weddings, the beautiful outdoor observation deck overlooks breathtaking views of the downtown Denver, Colorado skyline and seats receptions of up to 100 guests. Lastly, The Dive Lounge, an upscale bar within the complex, serves as an excellent location for your cocktail hour.

Services Offered
Upon booking your wedding at the Downtown Aquarium, a knowledgeable in-house wedding coordinator is assigned to you. All packages are custom-designed to meet the needs of your particular wedding. Chairs, tables, china, flatware, glassware, barware, linens, lighting, sound, and set up and clean up services are always included in the cost of your wedding package. A coat check room, podium, stage, dance floor, and more can be added to your package if desired. Parking is complimentary for you and your guests, and all areas are wheelchair accessible. An altar or arch as well as general decor, furniture, votive candles, and tents can be provided upon request. State-of-the-art audio and visual options are available.

Cuisine
Downtown Aquarium features a full service award-winning restaurant and culinary team. Dinner may be served buffet or plated, and hors d’oeuvres are typically served during your cocktail hour. All reception food, beverages, and alcohol must be provided by the venue. Desserts and cake cutting needs are included in the cost of your catering package. Depending on your package, a champagne toast may also be included. Chocolate fountains are available for the enjoyment of your guests if desired.
