Our Destination Wedding in Puerto Vallarta

Working with Dorothy was one of the best decisions we made while planning our destination wedding! From the very beginning, she made the process easy and stress-free. She helped us navigate the early planning stages, from helping us pick a destination that matched our vision to getting us in contact with our resort to help being planning our dream wedding! 
She was so organized and attentive when it came to us and our guests. She kept track of everyone’s reservations, coordinated transportation, and was always available to answer questions, both ours and our guests’.
We are so grateful for the support she provided from beginning to end, and would highly recommend her to anyone planning a destination wedding or group travel!

Made our wedding planning 100x easier!!

Dorothy was an invaluable resource while planning our destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta! She handled all the communication with the resort regarding dates, airport transfers, wedding contract and room block. It made that part of the process so much more efficient and seamless for us! She provided all the travel, booking and pricing info our guests could possibly need, all typed up with links, to put on our wedding website. She is very knowledgeable and was always quick to respond when we had questions. I highly recommend working with her to plan the travel for your wedding!!

Dream Wedding In Paradise

We had an amazing experience working with Dorothy while planning our wedding at Atelier Playa Mujeres. From the very beginning of the planning process Dorothy was professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful. From our intro call all the way to assisting our group with airport transfer assistance, she really made our process as smooth as can be when traveling for a destination wedding. Dorothy’s knowledge of the areas, and understanding what we were looking for made everything perfect. She made booking travel and coordinating details stress-free for both us and our guests. Her knowledge, and communication, truly made a difference. We highly recommend Dorothy to anyone planning destination wedding or special trip!

Amazing Wedding Travel Agent

Dorothy was an amazing travel agent for my wedding in Mexico. She was a great communicator with me and my guests. She was a great liaison between me and the hotel and ensured we received everything they promised. I highly recommend her and plan to use her for future travel plans.

Destination wedding saver!

Dorothy was such a big help in our wedding planning process. She made everything so easy during the room block process and she really recommended the best resort for our wedding destination. Weddings can be really really stressful and we were so grateful to have Dorothy by our side to talk to our guest and to make sure that we were getting everything out of our wedding package that we were meant to. I highly recommend Dorothy to any bride that’s looking to have a destination wedding or any guy that’s looking to go on an awesome honeymoon.

After working with Dorothy for my cousin’s wedding back in October 2024, it was a no brainer to choose her for my husband and I’s wedding.

My husband and I cannot thank Dorothy enough for helping our dream wedding become a reality. 🫶🏼 Really and truly, Dorothy was so kind and helpful and I feel as if she is a friend through this experience. She’s very responsive, a subject matter expert, and ultimately just a joy of a human to work with. I had a lot of anxiety going into wedding planning, but having Dorothy there to lead the way made it to where all I had to do was show up and get married! Lol

Great Experience!

Dorothy was wonderful to work with. She knows the resort that we chose for our elopement well (Secrets). She helped me to choose the right place for us and was a wealth of knowledge. She helped to navigate the wedding process with the resort and made sure that I was able to get in touch with the right people at the right times. She helped me figure out our next steps when our flight was canceled unexpectedly, even though we booked our own airfare. I would 100% recommend Dorothy at Sunlover travel and know that you will be in good hands!

Absolutely 1000% yes!!

After interviewing 7 travel agents (some are travel agents specialized in destination weddings), I chose Dorothy with SunLover travel because of her knowledge, experience, and overall we vibed so well! She helped me plan and organize my dream destination wedding in Mexico for ~70 guests. We had a few people who I knew would need more help with booking, etc. She handled it so well. Even me, being a type A, very anxious bride, she answered every single question I had and even anticipated most of my questions ahead of time. The few problems that we had during our travels, she said to let her handle it and we don't need to worry. SHE WAS RIGHT. She is amazing at what she does, hands down would choose to work with her again!!!

Playa del Carmen destination wedding

Dorothy was great to work with for our destination wedding in Mexico. From helping us narrow down our resort options and booking our site visits, to helping our guests book travel, we have no complaints.
