Dori is one of the best in the biz. She has a remarkable eye, and my new husband and I feel extremely privileged she was able to capture all of the magic of our big day. Truly a one of a kind talent!!!

Dori was a joy to work with from start to finish. Booking our photographer was one of the most important decisions for my husband and I. We wanted timeless wedding photos that would allow us to relive our wedding day when looking back years from now. Our engagement photos and wedding photos with Dori exceeded our expectations!

Dori made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and made each session fun and easy! She communicated with our other vendors ahead of the wedding day and was flexible with our changing timeline. Dori was a calming presence throughout our wedding day. We ended up having extra time and were able to get extra portraits in additional locations which ended up being some of my favorite photos! Dori was able to work with our family dynamics to make family portraits go smoothly. We will treasure these photos forever.

We will forever be grateful to Dori and her talents. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. I only hope I have the chance to work with her again in the future!

Dori is absolutely amazing at what she does - not only does she take stunning photos but she has a comforting, fun presence that has a way of making you feel at ease right from the start! Since I was getting married 4 hours away from where I lived, booking vendors seemed stressful - especially one as important as your photographer, but once I had the initial call with Dori I just knew we had to book her for our big day. She is professional, creative, caring, and goes above and beyond, from fixing my husbands boutonnière to making sure my hair was placed properly, all while keeping us on schedule and ensuring we got all the shots from our shot list. As people who don't feel comfortable in front of the camera she was able to help us pose with prompts, make us laugh, and by the end of the night we felt more like friends. We love Dori and her work - even our friends and family can't stop commenting on how amazing our photos came out. Book Dori for your big day, you will not regret it!

Dori was absolutely amazing and our wedding photos turned out beautiful! She is incredibly talented at what she does, and because of her detailed timeline (with built in wiggle room!) our day was able to run so smoothly. We were so grateful to also hire Dori for our engagement pictures, which helped us become much more comfortable in front of the camera. With Dori's posing prompts, we really felt super confident and relaxed, and it allowed us to just focus on having fun. I really feel like Dori captured that emotion in our final wedding photos. There is a perfect mix of 'classic' wedding photos and fun candids. It was important that the style of our photos looked timeless and not trendy, and Dori created that for us. Dori is the perfect photographer. Not only is her photography style elegant and timeless but her personality seals the deal. She's extremely kind but also confident in her work and direction. My husband and I were nervous about having to take photos and having them come out well but Dori knew exactly what she was doing. From the engagement shoot to the wedding, we were in excellent hands. Artist. Visionary. Mastermind. Creator. Organizer. Director. Scheduler. Sometimes, even hair fixer upper, to name a few! Dori wears so many hats and titles outside of "photographer." It took me a while to write this review as I wanted to make sure what I wrote about her work matched the level of detail that she captured on our day. To be quite honest, I cannot do this review even to the level that I want because I am still speechless and in awe, but I felt it was necessary to express my gratitude so other brides can feel confident about their decision to work with Dori. I stumbled upon Dori's work while living in Georgia and planning my New York wedding. She is based in Saratoga and that was originally where we were looking. Our plans changed, but we continued to keep Dori in mind for shooting our day. Luckily, she was willing to travel to Cooperstown, NY. I never had the opportunity to meet Dori in person prior to shooting our day (not because of her, but again, because I was planning our wedding from out of state), but from the moment I started to chat with her, it was clear that she was unlike any other photographer - very professional and her work speaks for itself! She gave me feedback and input during our consultation call that I didn't even think about nor had anyone else even mention. Fast forward to the day of. I was running a few hours behind and Dori was already onsite. Instead of rushing me, she captured detail shots and calmed me down letting me know that we can reorder our set timeline. This pivot was done with ease and without hesitation. She also worked well to make sure that we had all the photos we wanted captured and caught ALL of the little things and details that were a part of our day, many being spontaneous moments. For not being a regular at the location, all of our photos are like she had photographed there a bajillion times. She literally had everything figured out - from lighting and locations to who would photograph well next to who and how to maximize our time constraints. I don't think there are enough words in the English language to express how happy my husband and I are that we got to work with Dori on our wedding day. After looking through Dori's work on Instagram we fell in love with her photography style! We both felt at ease with Dori since the beginning of our engagement shoot, she even found some great locations for us to shoot at! When it came to the wedding day Dori captured everything perfectly. My husband and I had a long list of photos for the wedding day and Dori captured EVERY single one, she had so many amazing and creative ideas in addition to our list of photos as well. Dori is incredibly professional, experienced, and kind. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone considering hiring her! I’m so happy that we have Dori’s photos to look at for all the years to come!!

Dori was FABULOUS to work with. She was so easy going throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was sweet, kind, likeable and fun to be around. I remember the first conversation I had with her she was SUPER honest, and said you need to make sure you like your photographer because you are with them the whole day at your wedding. Well, that is definitely true and we LOVED working with Dori. We put together a list of photos we wanted to capture and Dori made it happen without a blink of an eye. She and Lynn were so attentive to detail and we could not have asked for better photos. You can tell they love what they do and it truly makes all the difference.
