I hired MoJohnson Makeup Artistry at the very last minute for my destination wedding. Mosun was extremely professional, kind and thorough during the booking process, asking specific questions in order to tailor the experience. She traveled to our hotel to do my and my Maid of Honor's makeup on the day of the wedding. A couple of times, various options were presented in regards to color, style, etc., and Mosun provided her opinion honestly and professionally (ex: suggesting a different option for eye color than what I wanted, based upon my skin tone and type). I really appreciate a vendor who will guide you in the right direction and not just tell you what you want to hear. Mosun made both of us look absolutely amazing, and I would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone.

Mosun did an amazing job as my make-up artist. She was able to provide me with a look that not only captured all of my features but enhanced them just as I had requested. I had a Pakistani-Bengali fusion wedding in which we wear very colorful clothing. She was able to perfectly match the make-up to coordinate with all of my outfits with elegance.

I hired Mosun a couple of weeks before my wedding kind of crunched for time. I went to the trial at her studio and was really amazed at how professional she was my experience was absolutely perfect my makeup was flawless. Mo really knows what she's doing. I would recommend her to anyone she practically saved my wedding and granted me memories I will have for a lifetime. Thanks Mo!!!

Mosun did an excellent job for my wedding! About two months before my wedding, I had a makeup trial with Mosun at her home/office. The makeup was beautiful and I was very excited to see it on my wedding day. I also asked her to do the makeup for my mom and my matron of honor. Additionally, the three of us, plus my sister-in-law (also a bridesmaid) got our hair done by two stylists that Mosun brought in on the morning of the wedding. (Just for reference: I am African-American with natural curly hair; my mom is African-American with grey/white hair, my matron of honor is African-American with sisterlocks, and my sister-in-law is Caucasian with fine hair.) Although I did not have a hair trial, my hair looked absolutely fantastic. That plus my wedding makeup made me feel like a rock star! Mosun and her team also did a great job on my mom, matron of honor, and sister-in-law. Everyone looked so beautiful. I would have Mosun do my makeup again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend her and her team. Thank you, Mosun! :-)

After discovering MoJohnson Makeup Artistry as a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding, I knew I had to book her services for my wedding day (and engagement shoot as well)! I can not say enough about Mosun and the amazing work she does! I am still getting compliments a week after my wedding, especially from my husband. She listened to my ideas of the make-up style I wanted for my big day and went above and beyond my expectations! Simply put, everyone looked fantastic. My mom, who never wears makeup, has raved about how great Mosun was. Not only was she prompt and professional, but she was very flexible with my somewhat hectic wedding day morning. I could not imagine anyone else as my wedding day make-up artist. I will definitely contact Mosun for any future special occasions.

All I can say is wow! I was in awe at Mosun's talent and professionalism. I have never felt so beautiful. She is the most talented makeup artist I've ever met. I had many questions leading up to my wedding and she was always so helpful, patient and kind. She took her time on my makeup on the big day and made sure I looked FLAWLESS! When one of my makeup artists cancelled a week before my wedding, I completely panicked. I reached out to Mosun after seeing the diversity of her work online (I had 5 bridesmaids of different nationalities so lots of different skintones!). She responded immediately and asked lots of questions so that she was completely updated on our wedding events and schedule. She even sent helpful advice to my bridesmaids about getting ready for the big day.

On the day of the wedding Mosun and her assistant arrived early and immediately went to work when we showed up. All of my bridesmaids looked absolutely gorgeous and were so happy with their makeup. Mosun and her assistant were some of the most stress-free vendors we dealt with - they're prompt, reliable, and most of all very talented!
