I hired MoJohnson Makeup Artistry at the very last minute for my destination wedding. Mosun was extremely professional, kind and thorough during the booking process, asking specific questions in order to tailor the experience. She traveled to our hotel to do my and my Maid of Honor's makeup on the day of the wedding. A couple of times, various options were presented in regards to color, style, etc., and Mosun provided her opinion honestly and professionally (ex: suggesting a different option for eye color than what I wanted, based upon my skin tone and type). I really appreciate a vendor who will guide you in the right direction and not just tell you what you want to hear. Mosun made both of us look absolutely amazing, and I would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone.

Mosun did an amazing job as my make-up artist. She was able to provide me with a look that not only captured all of my features but enhanced them just as I had requested. I had a Pakistani-Bengali fusion wedding in which we wear very colorful clothing. She was able to perfectly match the make-up to coordinate with all of my outfits with elegance.

I hired Mosun a couple of weeks before my wedding kind of crunched for time. I went to the trial at her studio and was really amazed at how professional she was my experience was absolutely perfect my makeup was flawless. Mo really knows what she's doing. I would recommend her to anyone she practically saved my wedding and granted me memories I will have for a lifetime. Thanks Mo!!!

Mosun did an excellent job for my wedding! About two months before my wedding, I had a makeup trial with Mosun at her home/office. The makeup was beautiful and I was very excited to see it on my wedding day. I also asked her to do the makeup for my mom and my matron of honor. Additionally, the three of us, plus my sister-in-law (also a bridesmaid) got our hair done by two stylists that Mosun brought in on the morning of the wedding. (Just for reference: I am African-American with natural curly hair; my mom is African-American with grey/white hair, my matron of honor is African-American with sisterlocks, and my sister-in-law is Caucasian with fine hair.) Although I did not have a hair trial, my hair looked absolutely fantastic. That plus my wedding makeup made me feel like a rock star! Mosun and her team also did a great job on my mom, matron of honor, and sister-in-law. Everyone looked so beautiful. I would have Mosun do my makeup again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend her and her team. Thank you, Mosun! :-)

After discovering MoJohnson Makeup Artistry as a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding, I knew I had to book her services for my wedding day (and engagement shoot as well)! I can not say enough about Mosun and the amazing work she does! I am still getting compliments a week after my wedding, especially from my husband. She listened to my ideas of the make-up style I wanted for my big day and went above and beyond my expectations! Simply put, everyone looked fantastic. My mom, who never wears makeup, has raved about how great Mosun was. Not only was she prompt and professional, but she was very flexible with my somewhat hectic wedding day morning. I could not imagine anyone else as my wedding day make-up artist. I will definitely contact Mosun for any future special occasions.

All I can say is wow! I was in awe at Mosun's talent and professionalism. I have never felt so beautiful. She is the most talented makeup artist I've ever met. I had many questions leading up to my wedding and she was always so helpful, patient and kind. She took her time on my makeup on the big day and made sure I looked FLAWLESS! I will be using her at all future events!

When one of my makeup artists cancelled a week before my wedding, I completely panicked. I reached out to Mosun after seeing the diversity of her work online (I had 5 bridesmaids of different nationalities so lots of different skintones!). She responded immediately and asked lots of questions so that she was completely updated on our wedding events and schedule. She even sent helpful advice to my bridesmaids about getting ready for the big day.

On the day of the wedding Mosun and her assistant arrived early and immediately went to work when we showed up. All of my bridesmaids looked absolutely gorgeous and were so happy with their makeup. Mosun and her assistant were some of the most stress-free vendors we dealt with - they're prompt, reliable, and most of all very talented!

I was very impressed by her professionalism, the effort put at easing the bride's mind and just the overall presentation of her work. I had so many people asking me who did my make up. It made me feel a whole lot special as the day always came with the stress of its own. Thank you Mo for making my day a very special one. While I dont look forward to getting married to someone else again, I certainly look forward to using your services for my renewals and other great events which may come my way.

Mosun was a pleasure to work with! She was willing to work with my budget and she was able to create my ideal wedding look. Mo Johnson was awesome!!! Everyone was blown away with her artistry for my wedding day & making me so beautiful (especially my groom)! I am so glad my sister found her! She knew exactly the look I was going for & even gave suggestions that looked better. She was very flexible considering I was also in the process of relocating to a different state & had to reschedule our trial date. She was Very professional (on time, quick response to emails) yet personable, pleasant, helpful & has a real eye! I wouldn't hesitate to call her for any other event or function to make me gorgeous again!! I am a very satisfied customer! My wedding was awesome & i know my pics are going to come out awesome as well & Mo Johnson played an integral part in it!!

Mosun is really the best, I used her for my makeup and bridal train makeup and she did a fantastic job. She also stayed with me through the day. I will definitely recommend her.

Mosun is amazing!!!

From the moment I contacted Mosun to my wedding day she made sure I had a fun experience. She was incredibly professional, responsive and timely. This completely made the process of looking my best on the most important day of my life so much easier. I was impressed by how helpful she was both by phone and email.

I was and still am very grateful at the extent she went to calm my nerves on a very stressful day. You wouldn't know how nervous I was by looking at me. All in all, she made sure I enjoyed my makeup experience with her. She was very engaging, friendly and patient in explaining what products she was using on my face and even how I could use them on my own.

I have recommended her to everyone I know and above all I think I have made a friend for life!

From my first makeup trial with MoJohnson Makeup Artistry to my wedding day she was one of my easiest vendors to work with. She listened and gave me a makeup look that was flawless and better than what I had imagined. She really does amazing work. I would give Mojohnson a call again in a heart beat.

Where do I start with how much I enjoyed working with Mosun! I trusted her completely for my makeup looks (along with my mom and sister) for my 2 day wedding after I had a bridal trial with her.

Mosun was exceptionally professional and very accommodating to all my needs as a South Asian bride. Our clothes are very colorful and bright and she was able to give me a cohesive look that didn't leave me washed out!

I had 11 bridesmaids, 1 flowergirl, the mother of the bride (my fab mother...lol) and myself all scheduled for our make-up the day of my wedding. We had to start early in order to get everyone finished in time for pictures. Although we ran over in time our looks were nothing less than glamorous! Everyone looked awesome! It helped to make my beautiful day even more great just by having my girls look and feel as fabulous as I did. Mosun was very professional and attentive to my needs. I was very slow to respond due to planning a wedding all by myself but she was very accomodating to my schedule. I would definitely recommend her to everyone for that one of a kind look regardless if you want to look like a princess which I did, glamorous, or even go for a more natural look you will look it! It was quite pricey and I was skeptical about her being able to make me believe that it was work the money. However, after my trial run I was hooked and so were my bridesmaids. My eyes popped and my lips pouted just what I wanted for my engagement pictures and more than I could dream for my wedding day. Thanks Mosun for making me look as good on the outside as I felt on the inside those two days (engagement photo day and wedding day).

I only have good things to say about my experience with MoJohnson makeup. The trial was great and mosun was easy to talk to. I did not have any issues for my wedding day after and i was very happy! Great work on hair and makeup from this team.

Excelent work. Her work was perfect, everyone is still talking about how good my face looked on my wedding day. She finished work on me. My makeup was on point.
