We’ve used Thomas for several events, and he has been fantastic every time. He is incredibly professional, always shows up prepared, and takes the time to meet in advance to understand the vision and tone of the event.

Thomas is incredible! Before getting to work with him, we were so worried about finding the right music balance for our wedding. There are just so many different generations and musical tastes to please, but Thomas absolutely nailed it! A ton of the people I've spoken with that attended our wedding specifically complimented our DJ. Thomas put in a lot of work beforehand to make sure he had an good grasp on what we liked and wanted to hear, but we also wanted to just let him run with things and I'm so glad we did! He had such a good grasp on the pulse of the wedding at all times. He kept the energy sky high, and built such a fun atmosphere for everyone in attendance. I'm so sincerely glad we went with Thomas for our wedding!

Hiring Thomas was such the best decision for our wedding! My husband and I met at a music festival, so we knew that music was going to be an important part of our day. Once we met with Thomas, we knew he was the perfect match to bring the soundtrack of our wedding to life. He was extremely knowledgeable of music, he communicated fantastically with all of our vendors, and asked the right questions to make the music run seamlessly that day. We loved his questionnaire which let us pick the songs we needed to hear (and just as important, the ones we did NOT want to hear), and stuck to that list. Picking music ended up being our favorite part of wedding planning! We not only walked away from our wedding thrilled with our night - we walked away with a newfound friendship in Thomas. 10/10!

Thomas was the best DJ we could have imagined!!! He took a lot of time and effort to really get to know us and our music tastes. We didn't always make it easy for him (our Do Not Play List was EXTENSIVE), but he managed our preferences so well and played a mix of genres and artists that had a little something for everyone. He also included some traditional Portuguese music which meant a lot to me and my family. Everyone at our wedding from teenagers to 70-year-olds were raving about him, and that's hard to achieve! Thank you, Thomas, for making our wedding SO much fun and so effortless for us!

Are you trying to have the time of your life? Then, hire DJ T-REX to DJ your next event! We hired Tom, DJ T-REX, as our wedding DJ. We contacted all the preferred vendors on our venue’s list during our initial search for vendors. Jon Strader was not available for our wedding date, but he referred Tom to us, and we are so glad he did! We would not have met Tom otherwise. Surprisingly, my (now) husband and I felt that picking a DJ was one of the hardest vendors to choose from because they do not have a portfolio you can look at the way photographers, videographers, florists, and makeup artists do and unless you crash a wedding, it is difficult to hear them play. We were lucky to see Tom play at a local brewery and after meeting him in person, my husband and I knew we had to book him.


In preparation for the big day, Tom's ‘homework’ was super easy to fill out and so comprehensive that we heard the songs we requested all night long. Without listing too many songs on our homework sheet, we told Tom the styles of music and several artists we were looking for and Tom ran with it. Fast forward to our wedding night, Tom had everyone on the dance floor all night long – so much that we almost missed our last shuttle to the hotel! Not only did he do a great job with cocktail hour, formalities, and the dance party, but he also MC’d our centerpiece giveaway and photo dash (if you haven’t heard what this is, I highly recommend doing it – it’s a great quick way to get a photo of you with every guest without having to go table-to-table, providing more time for you and your new spouse to enjoy the dance floor and it’s super fun!). Tom is also great at feeling the room – playing for all age ranges and all music styles. We had a few slow songs and an anniversary dance planned, but we had such a wild crowd, that while jamming out together, Tom jumped right in with us and asked if he could keep the high energy going and nix the anniversary dance – we immediately agreed as we trusted his judgment. He also kept to our ‘do not play’ list even when we had guests request some songs on that list.


Tom went out of his way to develop a personal relationship with us leading up to the wedding, which made us more confident and comfortable with choosing him and made the night-of that much more amazing! My husband’s vendor-picking criteria was “Can I have a beer with this guy after the wedding?” and you definitely can with Tom! Tom is electric both on and off the job. We not only had a wonderful DJ for our wedding, but we have made good friends and cannot wait to watch as both of our families grow. We cannot recommend him enough!

We had him DJ our outdoor wedding of more than 200 people and he had everyone there dancing from start to finish. He was so good he had my uncle Ben dancing and he has no legs. He also went out of his way to develop a personal relationship with us leading up to the wedding which made it that much more incredible.
