55th Wedding Anniversary

Working with "DJ not Yout Average Joe" was a great experience. The communication before hand was great; their actual performance was exceptional and very professional; and they worked with my budget. I could not have chosen a better DJ!

10/10, will use for everything!

Josias was excellent, and was the easiest vendor we dealt with during our entire wedding. He has a great client portal to organize what you want, and makes sure you don’t forget anything needed for the day. We even had video calls to go over any questions we had throughout the planning process. He brings great energy, reads the room and does great mixing if that’s what you are looking for. All my guests ended up staying and dancing all night!…and I had several guests even reach out to me afterward to ask about him for their weddings! You will NOT regret booking with DJNYOJ

Incredible Team for My Big Day

I absolutely loved working with the whole Sound Curators team. Jeff came over for the final walkthrough to assure he understood the layout of the property and that he had what he needed day of so that everything could be a success. Josias met with me ahead of time and covered everything thoroughly and made me feel confident that the day was going to go well, and it sure did!! I was absolutely thrilled with how everything came out. The lighting and the music blended together beautifully and Josias consistently checked in with me to make sure that I was happy and got me whatever I needed. They made my day more amazing than I had envisioned it. If you want your party to be a success, Sound Curators is the way to go!

Best. Dj. Ever.

Having Josias as a DJ at our wedding was by far the best part of our night. Josias did a wonderful job keeping the crowd engaged and excited, that by the end of the night we had multiple guests telling us it was one of the best weddings they had attended. Everything went perfectly at our wedding and a big reason was because of Josias being such an AWESOME DJ!! He was constantly checking in and making sure we were happy and on time. He also knew how to read the crowd and play songs everyone would enjoy. I’d recommend him 10x over to any couple looking to have a blast at their wedding.

Amazing DJ

Josias was absolutely amazing to have as our wedding DJ/MC. The whole process was seamless from the online portal to select since preference and upload the schedule for the day to the actual wedding. The comment we kept getting over and I er again was how good the music was! If you are planning a wedding, you definitely need to check and see if he's available!

Best DJ and Hype Man!

DJ Not Your Average Jo was a pleasure to work with! He is timely, professional, and worked to fulfill all of our needs for our wedding day. Before the wedding we were able to utilize his online portal, which was super helpful for planning. The music had us on the dance floor all night and Jo was a great MC as well and kept everyone hyped! We were so happy to work with DJ Not Your Average Jo and highly recommend his services.

Fantastic DJ

Josias was fantastic! We met briefly before the event to go over out expectations and Josias completely understood our needs. At the event, he was friendly, professional and really helped keep our more casual yet fun wedding event. We wanted someone who could read the room with being told, and Josias did not disappoint. I would highly suggest him, for any event in which you need someone who will to above and beyond to make your event the best.

Amazing DJ

Highly highly recommend this DJ. Very professional and fun. Day of wedding he walked around and asked guest what music they want to hear. Great lighting and music made the wedding even better.
