I absolutely loved working with the whole Sound Curators team. Jeff came over for the final walkthrough to assure he understood the layout of the property and that he had what he needed day of so that everything could be a success. Josias met with me ahead of time and covered everything thoroughly and made me feel confident that the day was going to go well, and it sure did!! I was absolutely thrilled with how everything came out. The lighting and the music blended together beautifully and Josias consistently checked in with me to make sure that I was happy and got me whatever I needed. They made my day more amazing than I had envisioned it. If you want your party to be a success, Sound Curators is the way to go! -

Having Josias as a DJ at our wedding was by far the best part of our night. Josias did a wonderful job keeping the crowd engaged and excited, that by the end of the night we had multiple guests telling us it was one of the best weddings they had attended. Everything went perfectly at our wedding and a big reason was because of Josias being such an AWESOME DJ!! He was constantly checking in and making sure we were happy and on time. He also knew how to read the crowd and play songs everyone would enjoy. I’d recommend him 10x over to any couple looking to have a blast at their wedding. -

Josias was absolutely amazing to have as our wedding DJ/MC. The whole process was seamless from the online portal to select since preference and upload the schedule for the day to the actual wedding. The comment we kept getting over and I er again was how good the music was! If you are planning a wedding, you definitely need to check and see if he's available! -

Jo is a wonderful person and an excellent DJ. Our July 31, 2021 wedding was originally planned for May 30, 2020, and we postponed the wedding twice. Over the entire time we coordinated with him- over two years- Jo was super responsive, patient, and kind. He was personable and gathered information about us to understand our preferences both regarding music but also regarding our personalities. The day of the wedding, he totally smashed it, reading the room exactly right the entire time and communicating with us the perfect amount about what we wanted throughout the course of the night. He was a fun and engaging MC as well. I would highly recommend him- we got lots of compliments about him from our family and friends! -

Great event DJ!
We had him Dj for our wedding..he was very courteous, did everything we asked ...and most importantly I could tell all of my guests had a great time..Highly recommend. -

DJ Not Your Average Joe not only provided great music for a diverse crowd, he went above and beyond to create a memorable experience. Hea traveled from Pittsburgh all the way to Chicago to provide his services. Throughout our discussions of playlist, itinerary and final details Josias was always transparent, professional and patient from the beginning. His large knowledge of music accommodated a diverse group of people and our guest continue to compliment us on our DJ. Josias’s easy going and animated personality also made it a joy to work with him. Working with Josias was the easiest part of our wedding planning and our wedding day ran smoothly with him as our DJ. I highly recommend DJ Not Your Average Joe to anyone who wants a memorable wedding night and smooth wedding planning.
