DJ Joey was a great wedding DJ. He was willing to communicate and listen to what we did and did not want to hear at our wedding reception.  We gave him some suggestions of things we wanted to hear and he created a nice balance of those songs as well as his ideas of what songs would support the overall vision of the night. We wanted a fun dance party and we got it. He was also a great MC throughout the evening, making sure all announcements were made and helped the evening flow smoothly. He was professional throughout the entire process and made sure he understood what we wanted. Guests told me later that they had a lot of fun and enjoyed the playlist. He was fantastic!

Joey was great! We had a wonderful wedding day that we owe to Joey and he even helped out with a customized song in addition to setting up some last minute accommodations that we did not prepare for. Highly recommended and would hire him again 10 times over.

We had our wedding on July 24th and I cannot say enough good things about DJ Joey! He reads the room perfectly and accepts any requests! Something that stood out to us is how willing he was to help with things outside of music. It poured rain during the first part of our wedding and he was helping the venue staff to dry the sidewalks with towels! He is incredibly kind and such a positive soul! Joey also took into consideration the attendance of young children at our wedding and waited to play more explicit music on our playlist when the children had left the venue. You will NOT be disappointed hiring DJ Joey for your special day!!!!

DJ Joey was awesome to work with. I am a wedding coordinator and work with many DJ's. Joey was very prompt to get back with me. Showed up on time and went above and beyond what he was called to do. On wedding day, 30min before ceremony, the bride had hired a string duo to play during ceremony. They would not play because of a rain shower that had just gone through which would leave the bride with no ceremony music. DJ Joey, without hesitation, step up and offered to help. I got the line up from the string duet, gave it to Joey, he uploaded it to his phone and had everything set up and ready to go for ceremony. He was my hero. He saved the day. I will definitely be going on our referral list. Thanks again Joey.

Joey Amoako provided a perfect experience at my daughter's wedding. Joey was easy to communicate with, always responding in a timely manner. He was receptive to suggestions for a play list and a "do not play" list. He was punctual in his arrival and set up. He dressed professionally for the occasion. Joey's easy manner provided a fun and lively reception. Everyone remarked it was one of the most fun weddings they have ever attended!

Joey was amazing! He eas so accommodating to my family and friends long list of silly requests! He improvised little things when he needed to and was extremely flexible! We all loved him!! Highly recommend!!!

Joey was phenomenal!! Prior to our wedding, he attended several meetings with myself, my planner, and the coordinator of our venue. In terms of communication, Joey was always easily accessible and quick to respond. For all of our meetings he was prompt and attentive. As far as the wedding night, he went above and beyond all of our personal expectations. He had all of our guests out of their chairs and dancing on the dance floor. Joey was exciting, energetic, and entertaining, what more could you ask for?? After our wedding, I had several guests tell me how much they loved our DJ, and that was the icing on the cake. Joey got the party started and kept it going! He played all our requests and danced with us to keep our guests involved. He went above and beyond and took care of our needs beyond what was expected. Joey is a pleasure to work with and extremely flexible! HIGHLY recommend!

Joey was beyond amazing! He was so friendly, fun and got the party started! He was very aware of the crowd and what would get them on the dance floor. He was super prompt and professional. He even allowed us to add additional DJ time at the last minute because we weren't ready for the night to end! Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ than Joey for our reception. Joey was great!! Joey is professional yet fun and our guest loved him! He helped organize several things on the day of, right before they happened, and everything ran smoothly thanks to him. He was able to come to the rehearsal for a short time to help get things timed and get a good feel for how it would be, which helped tremendously. The very best part was he made sure the groom and I got to eat!!
