Planning a wedding is stressful. You typically only go through it once, so you are navigating new waters for the first time and just figuring out things as you go. When I met with Joey on Zoom, he was extremely professional, personable, and already had an agenda for things to talk about. I thought we were just going to talk about him DJing music, but then he brought up extremely important questions about how the flow of the reception was going to go, how people were going to be announced from the wedding party, what vibe I wanted at what times etc... Even getting into the minute details of the importance on how to pronounce a name and what the correct title of that person was etc. He took the time to understand my wedding party and family dynamics, along with the vision I had for how I wanted the reception to be like. At the end of our conversation, I realized there were many small details that I had not considered before that were essential for my wedding to be successful without last minute panic moments. DAY SAVER. Let me tell ya! My wedding was beyond "over-the-top" and I am so so so SO grateful to have had Joey as our DJ and MC for the night. He has a very family-oriented vibe to him and truly felt the vibes of the room and DJ'd accordingly to it. He is a wonderful person, as well. I highly recommend Joey as a DJ. He was awesome to work with, specifically in helping us put together an outline of the steps from the ceremony to the end of the reception. For the music of the reception he was very on point with making sure the playlist included what the bride & groom wanted as well as throwing in some remixes to keep the party moving. Many of the venue staff pointed out during the reception how he was notably the best DJ they have seen as far as song selection/mixes/ and keeping the wedding guests going with a good time.
