In this day and age, it’s hard to find a company you can trust. DJ Jim Events was recommended to me by a friend, and now I know why – the quality of service I received was outstanding. Keep up the good work!

I found DJ Jim through Facebook. After searching DJ's in the Houston area, I was having a hard time justifying spending so much on that service. When I found DJ Jim I was excited to see his prices. When I finally got to hear him I was so thankful! The only small blip was how we decided to walk down the aisle, the grooms song was played for the wedding party and the wedding party was played for the groom. I was the only one who noticed but I also forgot to tell him how we were walking down the aisle.

PLEASE Don't choose DJ JIM if you care anything amount music. How horrible do you think it would be standing there getting ready to walk down the isle and you hear them playing THE WRONG SONG that all of your wedding party practiced too! Also, we made it very clear that we like country music and love to dance and when it came to the dancing portion, he played several Hip- Hop songs(you know the ones little teenage girls like to sing to). We had to stop what we were doing to go up there and tell him AT THE WEDDING to play more country. He does a horrible job at announcing. I also put a lot of time and effort into getting a music list prepared and put notations on when to play it, which is practically doing the job for him, and he still couldn't follow that. I know DJ Jim is a little cheaper with pricing than other places but IT'S SO NOT WORTH IT! So most venues have a certain time that you must vacate the premises. Well he decided to move his vehicle right in the front which blocked everyone else from being able to pack up all decor used for the wedding. I also had a family that works with a band offer to help him move his equipment and HE REFUSED the help. I am telling you, it really sucks when you have to select someone for the DJ and they talk a wonderful talk and make you believe that they are great and then come the day they do everything that you could possibly think a DJ could do wrong. Everyone knows there are certain times the bride and groom should have the attention of the guest like when you cut the cake, there was no announcement and didn't even play the song chose for that. Also, when the garter was tossed never played the song chose. It really is sad that I (the bride) had to go up there several nights to tell him what to do instead of spending my time visiting with our family and friends, which most were from out of town. Honestly, if I could put NO STARS I would.
