So, I loved these guys...especially Charlie Sr!! They have been in the business for years and they are a great family! I made their job easy by preparing my music ahead of time, but they really went above and beyond and made my day special. Although I gave the DJ a lot of music he still added some great music based on our preferences. I had the oldest son as my DJ (Charlie Jr.). These guys definitely know what they are doing and I would use them again in an instant! You will not be disappointed!!!

THE GOOD PART--This guy is clean cut and has a humble personality. He started off handling everything very professional in the weeks leading up to the wedding. He has connections with a photographer and videographer and other wedding help.
THE BAD PART--On the day of the event he showed his real colors.
Literally, right before we were to get in line for the wedding procession, he was arguing with the wedding planner about payment, instead of waiting for a better time to talk. He actually interrupted the wedding preparations and sent the planner to the dressing room to insist that I pay his money before he set up, which was contrary to what we agreed. He sent the planner SEVERAL times about money. I replied, "You will get payment like we said, so can you wait and let me get on with the wedding?" His reply was, "No, I won't be ready for the reception unless you pay me in full!" We were all dumb-founded, but I didn't want any more confusion, so I gave the money to the planner to give to him. (What a sad mess!).
Furthermore, more than 3 times he literally stopped playing music during the reception. At least one of those times was because he was at the bar getting food and drink. The other times were for no obvious reason. It looked like he was trying to hide the fact that he had trouble cuing music on his laptop or something. He threw the mood off in the reception several times because of his actions. Guests looked puzzled at him leaving his area to walk around.
Then there's the photographer/videographer that he got for us! Yes, the pictures and video came out decent for the inexpensive price (really good price for DJ, Video, Pictures, but I had to edit my own video and some of the pictures were not lighted correctly). The biggest complaint about the photogs was that they dropped items during the wedding ceremony that slightly interfered with the program. And the videographer shows several scenes where you see the photographer dropping things and getting in the way.
The good thing is that DJ Al's attitude didn't totally ruin the event. The wedding was a great event considering his funky attitude. It's your choice if you want to use this guy, but I am preparing for his funky attitude that may show up to your event. Don't say I didn't warn you! The best thing about it all was the price he charged for everything. You can't beat the price--If you want to gamble with the professionalism!
