David went above and beyond our expectations for a wedding photographer! I would highly recommend him!

I got married August 2017 and picking DGL Photography was one of the best decisions we made. We wanted someone who could take candid pictures and with his journalism background he did such amazing job. David takes such pride in his pictures you can tell he wants every shot to come out great. Denise his assistant is also really nice too and took wonderful pictures. I loved the pictures of the groom getting ready. They work very well together. DGL Photography also gives you a wedding preview a few days after the wedding. It was so nice to be on my honeymoon and get to see some pictures of throughout the day. My family loved the pictures that they took. I had to change the time of when Denise had to be there the day before the wedding and it wasn't a problem. They are so understanding and so easy to work with. I would highly reccomend DGL because they will give you the exact pictures you want and then some.

David is amazing and we highly recommend him! Not only is he a great person who is reliable and genuine, but he is an amazing photographer. He has a great attention to detail, he thinks outside of the box, and he is extremely dedicated to getting the best shots, going to all measures to do so. David and his colleague Denise managed to capture all of the emotions from our wedding, leaving us with a lasting record to remember the day. We are forever grateful to them for making out wedding absolutely perfect. Again, we highly recommend DGLphotography’s services to anyone and everyone!!

David was absolutely amazing to work with. He went above and beyond working with us and what we wanted for our photographs. He was very attentive and made us feel so at ease. He took the time to understand what we wanted out of our pictures and they came out incredibly beautiful! I recommend him all the time to friends that are getting married or having an event. We were thrilled to find David! We loved that his background was in photo journalism because we had planned to infuse so much personality into our day and we knew the best photos would be moments captured, not posed photos. And boy were we right! He did such a great job capturing the special moments and did it with such an artistic eye! We took photos around Boston that look like they could be featured in magazines! We did a number of photos by the pond in the public garden and people have mentioned that we look like we are standing in front of a Monet painting!

I highly recommend David for any sort of event photography, especially weddings. He was very good at being discreet during the ceremony and got a ton of fabulous photos. He was with us all day and never lacked energy!! He also was great at helping me stay on a time and never made me feel nervous when I knew I was running late!

David took a few hours to meet with us, get to know us and to walk around our venue and neighborhood ahead of time. He was able to help me plan the day (we did a first look and family photos beforehand). He was very informative about what to expect and I really needed that, planning a wedding was more stressful than I had anticipated!

Additionally, he was so flexible. My Matron of Honor (Sister) got pregnant and we had to move our original wedding date about a month and a half later than we had planned. David was so understanding when I called him and told him the news. He was happy to rearrange the contract to accommodate the news!

David was a wonderful photographer! It felt like we had known David for years! A very easy-going, likable gentleman. He was everywhere and took amazing pictures but was never in the way or bossy or intrusive- a truly professional vendor with clear experience in the field. He was responsive via email and phone to plan in advance and really took the time to get to know us and the type of day (and photographs) we were looking to create. He was efficient and realistic with the wedding day timeline and helpful in corralling wandering bridal party and family members during portraits to keep everyone on track. He was very early the day of and flexible enough to stay late when we asked to add an hour at the end of the night. His initial images came out excellent, were shared with us very soon after the wedding and the turnaround on receiving the edited ones was perfect (received them once we got home from out honeymoon) about a month after the wedding. Requested adjustments to photos were prompt and gorgeous. Thank you David for perfectly capturing our wedding day!

We cannot say enough great things about David. Planning a wedding from a few states away is never easy, but David made sure that all of our questions and concerns were covered. He took the time to meet my parents and I a month before the wedding to ensure all the details of the day were clear. He was even flexible enough to incorporate the groom and his son arriving by helicopter at our ceremony! The pictures of the day were fantastic. David seemed to be EVERYWHERE, yet he was never in the way. The photos he captured were phenomenal, and he was truly able to capture the essence of what we wanted our wedding to be - laid back and fun! David spent the entire day with us - and by the end, we left not just with a photographer, but someone myself and my family can consider to be a friend! Thank you David for all of your hard work!!

We were so pleased to work with David for our December wedding. He took so many creative shots, which incorporated all of the holiday decorations. I am so happy to have them as I did not have time to pay attention to the little details on our wedding day. The day went by so fast and it has been fun reliving the memories through the pictures! We are incredibly pleased with each picture, he was able to get at least one shot of everyone at our wedding!. We had a nice preview of all the pictures within a few days after our wedding and the rest of the pictures within four weeks! David was incredibly responsive to our requests the day of the wedding and in the weeks following when we requested some pictures be cropped or formatted differently. We highly recommend this photographer.

My wife and I were introduced to David’s work completely by chance, when our original wedding photographer had to relocate to the West coast. I wanted to find a replacement quickly, and one of the places I tried was the site Thumtack.com, where I received many photography quotes within my set price range, including David’s. I cannot begin to tell you how incredibly grateful we are that this chance occurred. Immediately, David’s work stood out from anything else I had seen so far. I love photography. I especially love a photojournalistic and more unique style, and all the wedding photographers whose work really took my breath away were so far out of our price range. When my wife and I met with David, we instantly knew he was going to be a perfect fit. His passion for photography is apparent in his outgoing and warm personality, and his glorious portfolio, where his photos tell the story of the day, like a perfect memory captured forever. David was even willing to meet up at our location a few weeks before, to discuss certain shots and ideas for portraits, and he made the most of our limited time both before and after the ceremony. One of the things we really loved about David was how comfortable and ‘at ease’ he put us both. I knew we were in good hands and had nothing to worry about. The day of the wedding went so smoothly, I could not have asked for anything better. We just received the link to all of our wedding day photos, and I must say, I am blown away at how incredibly beautiful they all look! It was like reliving the day all over again, as well as seeing the little details that you inevitable miss. David, you are worth your weight in gold, thank you again for all your hard work on our special day!
