Devon has been doing my makeup for 6+ years now & to say the least, she is unbelievably talented. I have watched her work her fingers to the bone, & quickly blossom into an extremely successful, one women show. She has done my makeup & hair many times but most recently for the biggest day- my wedding! We did a trial run & she carefully listened to exactly what I wanted & made it even better. She is able to do full blown, heavy beauty makeup, as well as something very simple & natural, which is what we went with for my wedding day. My hair also came out amazing & so much more creative than the photo I showed her. She is incredible, a great listener, very upfront & a great communicator, which I am very appreciative of. Let the photos speak for themselves, the final product is what matters most! Thank you a million times!

Ah I love Devon, I cannot begin to say enough great things about her! Devon did me and my bridesmaids and she is incredible, so so talented. The sweetest human with such a great heart. Devon was my makeup god mother who did 8 girls makeup in the time I needed her too and it turned out amazing, 1000% recommend Devon for all your makeup needs!

Devon is KICK BUTT amazing!!! Yes, she is a friend but she works miracles!!! She made me look so stunning for both my engagement and my wedding - nothing too over the top that I didn't look like myself but enhanced my own beauty to another level. Great to work with, has so much talent and she does HAIR too!!! She took my pictures and transformed me into so much more!

Absolutely unprofessional towards her clients.

just look at her response on yelp to a client.... and IG venting about it. Was considering her and then decided no from that.

Update- only reason she has 5 stars on other sites is she went on social media and begged for ratings after we were honest...photos show that she pushed our appointment from 10:30 to 12:30 then showed up at 1:23. Disproving that she was 20ish minutes late, only the beginning of her unprofessional behavior..Devon sent my mother a rage filled and inarticulate response to her honest Yelp review. Her husband then left fake reviews on my mothers business profile (swiftly removed as clearly false). I have never seen an adult to behave this way and she clearly has a chip on her shoulder and needs to learn how to take criticism and to treat all clients with respect.

I wanted to have Devon do my bridal make up for a while and was so excited for my trial this past weekend. She was nice enough but very unprofessional. My mom & I both scheduled a trial with her a month in advance and the outcome was very disappointing...

Devon was an hour late to my trial, from another one she pushed mine back to fit in, with out apology. Half way through my trial, and complaining how tired she was from a late night job, she asked my mom to reschedule her trial as she was tired and my mom would be her 4th trial that day (again, we booked both a month in advance). My mom had her hair done the day before and ran home in between appointments, letting Devon know she was washing it per instruction. Devon didn't ask to reschedule until after my mom let her know she was washing out a blow out and had another appointment after her trial. Very inconsiderate.

When she was finally done with my hair and make up, it looked fine, but like she didn't really try or care and still charged us $300 after all the inconvenience. I acted like I was happy with it because I just wanted it to be over and honestly didn't have time to think about how disrespectful this all was until after. It was so clear she didn't want to be there and even said she thought about completely rescheduling both our trials but decided not to. I was so let down and felt defeated after looking forward to this fun glam day with my mom, not how an artist should ever make a bride feel.

She's been doing a lot of bachelor & bravo "celebrities" recently and it just felt like we weren't worth her time and didn't deserve to be a priority. We also accidentally over paid her, and requested the difference back and the Venmo was denied. When I texted her our disappointment in the situation and that she could release our wedding date, she didn't apologize once, only said "no problem! Good luck 👍🏻".

Bottom line- It seemed if you're not a reality celebrity or blogger sharing her work, you probably won't be treated like you matter, regardless of what she's being paid.
