Donna and Alexis were amazing! We had a great time hanging out and they helped make my wedding day perfect! I can’t say enough positive things about them! I would definitely recommend Detangled for all your wedding hair and makeup needs!

I actually found Detangled Salon through Groupon as I was panicking over my wedding hair and makeup, because I don't have a regular salon, and my hair is... a lot. I bought their Groupon for a keratin treatment back around Easter, and when I was on the phone making the appointment, explained that I was also looking for bridal hair and makeup. Ladies, they were ON it. They booked my keratin service with one of their special events hair ladies so we could get to know each other, and every time since then that I've stepped foot in their (frankly, absolutely adorable) salon, they've known who I was on sight, remembered details I've told them about my wedding, were totally happy to work with me, just from start to finish they were so NICE about EVERYTHING. And professional!! And talented!!
After my trial, I actually ended up calling and switching my hair person. Not because she didn't do a good job!! But Donna, my makeup person, and I had just vibed so well, I really felt like she got me, and I knew she did hair as well. So for my wedding this past Saturday, Donna did both hair and makeup for me. And I could not have been happier!! She worked with me every step of the way, we figured out together how to make my style work, she was always checking in to make sure I liked everything, and there was no ego or anything, when I asked her to change something it got changed, no issue. She was so reassuring, making it clear that I wasn't a problem, that she was happy to work with me, and as a stressed-out bride there's nothing I needed more than a competent professional who was happy to work with me. Donna and the rest of the Detangled staff gave me absolutely everything I needed. I'm already making plans to go back for a trim, and trying to find an excuse to do special event hair and makeup again :D This is hands down my default salon now, and I'm recommending them to everyone!!

Donna and her team are AMAZING! I was a bride who doesn't wear a ton of makeup, so bridal makeup made me nervous. I had seen her makeup on 2 other brides I knew who are just like me, and they looked amazing and beautiful on their wedding days! That made it that much easier for me to call her up and see if she was available. Her team listens to what you want, and make you feel right at home when you're in their chair! They'll also make suggestions so you can get the exact look you are looking for! My girls looked amazing, and my mom and mother-in-law looked beautiful! Even better? Donna's team was so accommodating that they used my sister-in-law's makeup on her face because of her lifestyle choice! No questions asked! Donna goes above and beyond for her brides and their squad, and I can't wait for my next event so Donna can do my hair and makeup all over again!

Donna did an AMAZING job on myself, 4 bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride and groom at my May 2016 wedding. She was able to come to the hotel that I was staying and set up early in the morning in order to accommodate my wedding party size. She was great to work with from start to finish- for my trial she made me feel super comfortable- very personable and friendly. She added two extra assistants (for free ) to come and help to get my wedding party done before my first look.
My makeup and hair lasted the whole day and looked flawless from start to end (even with all the crazy dancing throughout the night). She made my wedding morning very special, bringing laughter and fun to the getting ready part of the day.
Donna is truly an expert and is worth every penny! I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family and would use her again if I needed to get my hair/makeup done!

Detangled was amazing! One of my friends from college recommended them so I reached out to Donna and from that moment on, they were great! I live on Long Island, so it was a bit of a trek for both parties, but the girls did an excellent job. I drove to NJ one day for my trial with Donna. She was so super patient and worked with me to recreate things from the pictures I had picked out. She worked to make it right by me, which was so nice and I definitely felt comfortable asking her to make a few changes-- her salon is super cute. Donna is a true expert/professional. She knows how to do everything and she seems like a perfectionist!

I had 3 bridesmaids and my mom get hair and makeup done by the salon. Donna and Lia came to my house on the morning of the wedding, set everything up in the dining room and did amazing work. They created a schedule for us about a week before the wedding with detailed times so everyone knew exactly what time they were getting what done. It really helped to keep the flow of the day going and kept us all on time. Most importantly, all the girls thought they did an amazing job! We were so happy with everything, and the price was definitely right. I cannot recommend them highly enough for their professionalism and attention to detail. You will not be disappointed!

I starting to work with Kristin a year before my wedding and she was terrific from day one! She was so patient with me during my trial and really listened to what I envisioned for my day.

Her and Lia did hair and makeup on my wedding day for me, my bridal party, and close family members. Everyone looked beautiful and we got so many amazing compliments. Kristin did my hair and makeup, and also helped me stay calm and relaxed the entire time.

I could never thank nor recommend Kristin, and other staff at Detangled Salon enough. They were truly a huge part of my wedding and made everyone look fantastic. I contacted Detangled Salon in January following another salon being fully booked. I was quite disappointed initially but it turned out being the best thing that could have ever happened. Kristin dealt with my countless emails, questions, and changes and made everything perfect. Looking back at my wedding I am happy to say detangled salon was a fantastic part of it :)
