Designs by GG is a wedding baker located in Irving, Texas, that serves the surrounding region. Couples looking for boutique cakes and Cuban pastries will appreciate this team’s beautiful, creative desserts. They have been featured on the Housewives of Dallas and Voyage Dallas Magazine.

Services Offered
Designs by GG is a licensed and insured bakery which offers consultations so couples may go over their services and ask questions. You may work with them to create a custom designed cake made with fresh fruit and local, organic ingredients. They offer gluten and nut free options, vegan-friendly items, and selections for those with diabetes. You may also attend tastings to preview and select cake and icing flavors. Designs by GG offers delivery and set up of cakes, along with rental stands and toppers. They also offer the following desserts:

We are currently taking appointments via video conferencing and in house at our design studio. In addition, we have collaborated with other vendors to bring you an all inclusive Mini Wedding or Elopement (See our special).

Excellent!!

Designs by GG did a wonderful job from the very beginning. Grace was easy to contact, responsive and flexible with appointment times for a tasting. Grace and her colleague were very welcoming and professional. They explained everything, of course the samples were beyond delicious and Grace even hand-sketched what both cakes would look like while we sat at the table. On the day of the wedding Grace arrived early with the cakes (so as not to be late with storms coming) and they were both beautiful and delicious. We received compliments all night about them, and there wasn't a single piece of the groom's cake - chocolate on chocolate with strawberries - left at the end of the night. The wedding cake was 3 tiers - lemon chiffon, marble, and wedding white (almond), all tiers were 2 layers with raspberry filling. I am beyond pleased! Thank you Grace and the Designs by GG team! ❤️

Stunning and Detailed

This cake was stunning. I had a masquerade theme for my wedding. The colors, and the little candy handmade masks were spectacular. Three layers of just fantastic beauty and the cake quality was so delicious. The grooms cake complimented the wedding cake perfectly. We absolutely could not have been happier with the display and how they looked on our wedding table. Thank you, Thank you

Absolutely PERFECT 🤩

10/10 would recommend!

Designs by GG were amazing! We went for a cake tasting and they sent us home with two mini cakes (which we ate for days btw) lol. They were very personable and understood our vision, but most importantly the cakes were divine. They were incredibly moist and delicious. We got vanilla and spice cakes with buttercream frosting. They were a great price point and I knew immediately after the tasting that I wanted to hire them. They had impressive cakes that they had designed to show off as well. On the day of, I didn't have to worry about a thing. They delivered everything and it looked so gorgeous. I got a ton of compliments on how beautiful it looked and how great it tasted! They also had great communication through the process. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful and Amazing!

These ladies have hearts of gold, more brilliant than the accents they put on our cake! The tasting was amazing! All the insight and help they offered, even after delivery! They helped my family and friends with decorating and accent touches ! I walked out to pure beauty!

Outstanding

Their cakes are delicious! Even the white cake, which is usually dry, is very moist. Don't know what their secret is! The decorating was so awesome! Clean, smooth, it didn't even look like a cake. So pretty, I didn't want to cut into it.
