We picked the Denver Tech Center Marriott for the simple fact that we wanted a hotel reception so that our guest could enjoy the reception and not have to worry about driving. Another huge reason we chose the DTC Marriott is because we felt like the decor of the hotel really told our unique story (being that we are both from Colorado originally). I believe now the hotel has undergone some renovations, however when we had our wedding in May 2015, the lounge area had fake pine trees, elk statues, and a hanging backdrop of the rocky mountains. We felt like the decor was unique to our wedding story. The hotel also provided the cake, as well as the food, and a champagne toast for everyone. Haley was our wedding coordinator for the hotel, and she was amazing with every little detail from our tasting, to making sure our event turned out just the way we had imagined it!

My son's wedding was at the Marriott DTC on Dec. 16, 2017. They had reserved the smaller ballroom but when no one else had rented the main ballroom, they upgraded us to that for no additional charge. The room was lovely. We wanted the tables arranged in a different pattern and they accommodated that without fuss. The chef was VERY good and very personable at our tasting, We used their holiday buffet menu and they made many dishes GF for our guests. We had asked that they display signs saying which items were GF which they forgot but when I mentioned it, they quickly took care of it. For a wedding of 254 people, they made it look effortless. They provided a room for the bridal couple for 2 nights (night before and night of wedding) which was helpful and even had a conference room for bridal party to store stuff in and hang out in before being announced at the reception. Thankfully they let us store our decorations in that room overnight and return the next day to get them instead of having to totally clean up the night of the wedding. We had cocktails in the atrium and then moved in the ballroom for dinner and dancing. I liked the 2 room set-up. For such a large crowd, I was very impressed with the quality of food, especially on a buffet. I loved the fig salad! They had a very large dance floor (think it was 32x32) which was great for our dancing crowd. The wedding was really a night to remember!
