So, I’d been planning my wedding for 6 months,all indications were that March 3rd would be a sunny day. Then a week before the wedding we start hearing rain, a lot of rain. I started contacting as many event planners and rental places as I could find. I knew I may have trouble finding tents and heaters only a week before the wedding. I had sent out 8-10 emails on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday night I got a reply from Virginia at Deluxe Party Rentals.Sunday night!! This bride to be was so grateful!! She responded first with Congratulations for my wedding, and then asked how they could help. After several emails back and forth , did I mention it was Sunday night?!?!, we agreed her guys would come measure the yard for tents on Monday . The men came out and measured, we agreed on how many tents and heaters we needed and I put my order in with Virginia. She is so nice, patient and helpful!! I had asked for mushroom heaters, and she mentioned they also had the triangle flame tube kind, and those could go under the tent. 5 tents and 5 heaters and I was set. The men showed up as agreed to put up the tents the Thursday before my Saturday wedding, they were professional and helpful. The tents looked great and worked really well! There was rain Friday night, but thankfully nothing really on Saturday. What little there was, we were covered!!! And the heaters, I thought everyone would be cold, but those things really work!!! My wedding day was magical and Virginia and Deluxe Party Rentals help make that happen!!!!! I recommend them highly!

House Party Rentals was recommended by a friend because they have the best prices in town and a large variety of items. From chairs to linens (even center-pieces) they have it all. However, it was difficult to find the person I had originally met with and when I called, they often could not find the contract right away in order to review or change the order. They were flexible and helpful, but it was a real problem spending time playing phone-tag, calling numbers with full mailboxes and the like. I had to ask my mom to deal with them because I didn't have the time or patience.

When it came to the chair rental for the ceremony in Balboa Park, they sent out someone to make sure they could find us on the evening of a rehearsal, which was excellent. Everything was delivered on time and everything was there on the day of the wedding. But for most of the time leading up to wedding day, it was a real headache trying to work with HPR. If I had to do it all over again, I would go with a more professional an reliable company even if I had to pay more.
