From our tasting appointment to the day of she was easy to communicate with, thoughtful, and took the time to understand our vision/wants for our cake! The final product was truly a work of art and our guests were completely in awe (as were we) with how DELICIOUS the cake was. She is a can't miss vendor for high-quality, beautiful and absolutely delicious cakes and we will be recommending her to anyone and everyone who will listen!

Joanna, thank you for our delicious and beautiful wedding cake! We received high praise on our double chocolate cake from both a chocolate aficionado and my father-in-law who is typically not a chocolate fan. We still can’t decide whether we liked the vanilla cake with salted caramel or double chocolate cake best. Fortunately, we have extra slices to enjoy and will continue the taste test!

Johanna is absolutely the BEST!!! We decided to go with her for our wedding which was in July. She was so kind and patient through the entire process. You can tell that she loves what she does. We sent a few inspirational photos, and she absolutely nailed it!!! It was perfect in every way. It not only looked gorgeous, but it tasted amazing. We also ordered mini pies and cookies. All of it was delicious. We are forever grateful to Johanna. This cake made our wedding.

We booked with Johanna for our wedding 7/31/22. She had great pricing compared to others in the area and was so responsive. Our cake was delicious and we had so many compliments. It ended up being 100+ degrees on our wedding day and it survived!! Thank you for the amazing wedding cake!!!

My now husband & I tasted wedding cake options at several different locations before meeting Johanna at Delicately Sweet Confections. While the other cake, filling, & frosting options were good, we hadn’t found anything that knocked our socks off. Our cake tasting ended the moment we had our 1st bite of Johanna’s almond cake with vanilla buttercream. It was a dream come true on a fork. Every subsequent cake & buttercream combination was just as good as the first. And the sampling of coconut macaroons & ginger molasses cookies were just as fantastic. We received so many compliments at our wedding about the cake & dessert selections. One person said that jaws dropped when they took a bit of the almond cake with raspberry curd and almond buttercream slice of heaven. We’ve bought several treats from Johanna since our wedding & we look for any opportunity to purchase additional treats from Johanna to share with our family & friends.

1000 stars! The cake was delicious and beautiful. Johanna made the process easy! We picked up a box to try flavors at home, and she helped us by providing more samples when we wanted to confirm our flavor choices. Selecting a shape and color was simple and stress free. She delivered the gorgeous cake on-site and on time. Would HIGHLY recommend this bakery for any event big or small!

I contacted Johanna about a micro wedding I was having and she was very prompt in responding. We're from Texas and decided to have our wedding in the woods up there so we never got to taste test, so I was a bit nervous planning everything from afar. However, SO worth. She really took the time to look at and discuss what I wanted and what would work and look good, as well as flavors. Day of, I was in glee to see it was EXACTLY the cake I wanted and asked for.

No joke, that's the BEST cake I've EVER had in my life. I'm not exaggerating when I say that. Cake if my favorite dessert and even my husband and family who aren't as into cake were raving about it, still are. I got the Mocha espresso cake with salted caramel...and it was so moist and smooth. Not overly sweet like you get sometimes but just perfect. We couldn't get enough. Hands down one of my favorite vendors we had and I'd love to order more from her if I ever got the chance. I'd order every cake for everything, from her if I could. I don't have the photographers pics back yet so these pics won't do it the full justice, I'll update when I get those in.

Seriously, hire her. Look and cake were so flawlessly executed, you won't regret it. She's also so amazing to work with. Can't thank her enough!

Johanna was great to work with! She remained in constant communication with me and made sure every detail was covered long before the wedding date. As well as this, her cakes look and taste absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend trying one of her sample boxes as all of her cake flavor and frosting flavor combinations are excellent! I received a lot of positive feedback from my wedding guests about the cake.

As someone with a sweet tooth, I can say confidently that she is one of the best in Seattle! Not only is she talented in the kitchen, but she is also extremely creative. She has an eye for beautiful and distinctive designs. Our wedding cake turned out even more stunning than we imagined and our guests loved the flavors!
