We found David because he was a preferred vendor for our venue and he proved why he’s preferred. He’s charismatic, friendly, helpful, and works with you every step of the way. He provides easy to put together forms to set up your music for the night. The vibe on the dance floor is a top priority. David made sure to have proper pronunciation of every person he introduced, ran fantastic ceremony sound (even putting together special mixes we asked for) and even better party for the reception. We will hire David again is we ever need a DJ again.

David was incredible. We threw several curveballs at him and he adjusted very well and helped make the time special! Our venue layout was a challenge when officiating the ceremony and we also gave him our first dance song five minutes before, and he put the entire show on with zero stress. My wife and I had the pleasure of working with David for our wedding back in August. Like many, we had to postpone our celebration due to Covid, so we had high expectations for our day, and David helped us immensely in seeing those expectations through.

One of the main things we wanted when we began to plan was a DJ who wouldn’t simply play music and maybe say a thing here or there, but someone who would create an atmosphere of fun and entertainment that would keep the party going until the very last song. In spite of some changes (and surprise speeches haha) David adjusted on the fly and was able to make transitions seamless. In addition, he reads the room exceptionally well and kept the dance floor going ALL. NIGHT. LONG. (and would have gone longer if the venue did not have a music curfew).

In fact, a few engaged couples grabbed David’s contact after the wedding (he was that good). I would HIGHLY recommend working with David for any event requiring a DJ.

We booked David for our wedding in June 2021 and it was one of the best decision we made. He was excellent in communicating, always responded very quickly to email and calls, and was a HUGE help in helping us figure out missing details while planning the wedding! On the actual wedding day, he was incredibly professional but also super energetic and brought a lot fun to the entire day by making jokes and interacting with our guests to make everyone feel welcomed and included! He added in all of our favorite songs on the dancefloor and did an amazing job keeping the dance floor packed full of people all night so that we could have an amazing party with our family and friends. Multiple friends and family members have told us how fantastic of a job he did and how we had the best DJ they had ever seen at a wedding - hands down. David, is absolutely amazing and we would highly recommend him for any event you have!

David was one of our best choices of vendors for our wedding. We originally booked him before the pandemic, but of course had to postpone for quite some time and David was willing to work with us every step of the way. David has excellent planning materials that really helped us figure out what music to use for each and every step of our wedding. Not only that, but with his materials we were able to focus in more what our actual timeline would be.

David was also more than willing to help move things along during the wedding, transitioning us from each part to the next. Of course, most importantly he was an excellent DJ and master of ceremonies. He played all of the songs we specifically requested and played a great mix of other music that fit right in. He was able to get everyone on the dance floor at one point or another and really helped to make our day so incredibly special. He has great communication skills and was very timely with everything we needed. We would highly recommend him for any kind of event.

In my experience with wedding receptions, the DJs either make or break the party. That being said, I was nervous to select and hire a DJ for our wedding. My wedding coordinator recommended David Newton to me, and I am so thankful that I went with her suggestion! David was professional and organized but also fun and energetic, and he did everything I could have asked him to do to make both our ceremony and reception go off without a hitch. For example, I was very particular about when I wanted certain verses of my processional song played, and he nailed it! He also had the vast majority of our guests joyously dancing the night away (and he even joined in on the dancing). David Newton was kind and relatable, his song choices were perfectly reflective of my now husband’s and my personalities and shared faith, and overall, he is an awesome DJ! You won’t be disappointed if you hire David Newton as your wedding DJ!

David was outstanding! We would recommend him to anyone! Music was great, set up was great, personality was great. Loved every minute of our experience with Mr. Newton.
