We hired David Le Photography for our August 2024 wedding and unfortunately had an extremely disappointing experience. After our wedding, we had no communication from him for two months until I reached out. We finally received our photos in October. Then, months of silence again — I reached out twice in December asking about our wedding video with no response.

On December 21st, David emailed saying the video would be done “before the new year.” That didn’t happen. Months passed with no updates, no replies, and no video.

After nearly a year of waiting, we had no choice but to hire an attorney. A demand letter was sent on July 24th, requesting the video and a partial refund for the delay.

Within 24 hours of receiving the letter, David suddenly sent the video — along with a ChatGPT-generated response offering a much smaller refund. While we were relieved to finally receive something, it’s hard not to question whether the video was completed with the quality and care we originally paid for, given how quickly it was sent once legal action was involved.

We requested that he cover the attorney fees we had to incur just to receive what we paid for. Unfortunately, he repeated the same pattern of behavior — ignoring our messages, failing to respond, and continuing to show the same lack of communication and unprofessionalism that caused this situation in the first place. We did not recieve any payment.

No client should ever have to chase a vendor for months or get legal help to receive contracted deliverables. Brides are expected to pay their invoices on time and in full — vendors should be held to the same standard.

Please be cautious before booking with him. I wouldn’t want another couple to experience the same stress and disappointment surrounding something as meaningful as their wedding memories.
