Adasha Gittens CEO of Dash Events is successfully bridging the gap between the music, fashion and event planning industries through direction of numerous high-profile events. Well-known as “The Plug” of the photo booth industry, she has built a powerful reputation with her photo booth experiences. With over a decade of experience clientele have included Crayola, Jimmy Jazz, Essence, Monami Entertainment, The Source Magazine, DJ Envy, Yandy Smith Harris, Harlem Haberdashery and Charlemagne Tha God to name a few.

Adasha’s career began in the music industry where she worked as a General Manager for APE Entertainment, involved in production deals for Teddy Riley and Interscope Records. In 2002, she explored sales & marketing working for the largest Japanese book publishing company in the world, Kodansha America. Through assisting with the release of Master Chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa’s book Nobu, as well as the A-list book release party at his Nobu Tribeca restaurant, Adasha gained valuable sales, marketing and publishing experience. Additionally, Adasha worked with Iron Mike Enterprises where she successfully spearheaded their star-studded launch party.

Throughout the years, Adasha has continued to own and operate a restaurant in Manhattan, offering catering services to a wide-range of clients, including colleges, schools, funeral homes, record labels and celebrities.

A native of New York, Adasha has resided in Orange County for over 16 years, raising two fascinating and talented children who are the inspiration for her launch of Dash Talent Management. She supports her son’s basketball career and manages her daughter’s fashion, acting and dance career, successfully facilitating deals with Jordan Brand and Brooklyn Nets Kids. Most recently, Adasha facilitated a partnership with Sean John’s Dream Big project, as well as her daughter’s organization, Children Making Strides Against Childhood Cancer – a fashion for a cause runway show and gala, benefitting Sloan Memorial Kettering Center. Collaboratively with her daughter Ciara, she has created a platform for all children aspiring to become models, while enhancing the lives of those affected by cancer through building their self-esteem and confidence.

When not providing décor for fabulous events such as DJ Envy & his wife Gia Casey’s baby shower, wedding and sweet sixteens, Adasha can be found around the city on movie sets, at fashion shows and spending time with her family. Dash Events is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with, as Adasha is blazing trails with no end in sight.
