Vicki does a wonderful job. Her pictures always turn out beautiful, she truly listens to what you feel and want, and was efficient and effective with both her and our time. We love Vicki!

Vicki was a fabulous wedding photographer! We were coming to California for our wedding from out-of-state, and Vicki was extremely helpful during our phone conversations in the months leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day she arrived early, remembered everyone's name, and took photos in a timely manner. In addition, she's got a great personality and we had a lot of fun doing the shoot. We highly recommend her services.

Vicki was a GEM! She was so much fun to work with and everyone LOVED her. She is very reasonably priced and gives you so much of her time and attention. Many of the vendors limit their service to 4 hours or so. Vicki not only provided an engagement session and print as part of her package, she dedicated her entired day to our wedding. She was there from 2pm when we were getting ready until after we rang in the new year. She captured our entire evening and we couldn't be more pleased. We felt very comfortable with her and it was very much like we were working with a friend. The photo website was a hit as well! I appreciate very much that guests can go and view wedding photos and make their own private selections to purchase. Vicki captured many wonderful family photos of our guests too and they were very excited to see those. Chris and I have already dubbed Vicki "our photographer". She will definitely be our go to for any photo needs! Thank you soooooo much for being so wonderful, Vicki!

Vicki was amazing! Super helpful and down for whatever we wanted. She was a huge help the day of when because of a bad accident on the freeway we started the wedding a half hour late, she helped get us back on track after the ceremony with how fast and professional she was. She has no problem telling people what to do and how to get things down quick while keeping a great attitude and a smile on her face. We will definitely be going back to Darling Photography for family photos!

Working with Vicki was such a releaf, she helped in so many area's more than just taking the photo's. Her personality was great, she is witty and funny. High enegery when you need it and knew when to keep me calm. Our wedding photos came out so bueatiful. I am totaly impressed with her art and passion in photos.

Absolutely, the BEST photographer ever!!!!! Vicki did our wedding last year in Moaning Cavern and our reception at the Hotel Leger. We loved her. She is extremely affordable. She took wonderful photographs and satisfied all of my requests including taking couple shots of each couple who attended our wedding. We also received the digital images in our package which is an awesome benefit. We plan to return to her many times in the future to take our family portraits, and any other reason I can find to get her to take more photos. She is soooo nice, its like having a family member take your photos. I can't praise or recommend her enough!!!! Really, you WONT be disappointed!!!! She is AMAZING!!!!

Great photographer!! She photographed my daughter wedding at the River Mill on June 7, 2013 and was Excellent!!! She arrived before us and started taking photos pre ceremony and stayed till the end of the reception. The photographs are amazing she had good fresh ideas for poses and captured good candid ones too. She even helped my daughter with her dress! I highly recommend her !

I'm giving Vicki 5 stars, but I have some caveats. It's been about a year and I've had time to reflect, and there are some things that I'd like to make note of so other brides can learn from me.

Pros:
- Very nice and patient
- Was very understanding about my Covid protocols
- Treated everyone very well
- Navigated family relations well
- My shy husband felt super comfortable with her and actually enjoyed taking pictures when she was our photographer (she's a boy mom so I think that she understands men pretty well)
- Got everything on my shot list
- Dealt wonderfully with a very yappy dog (yes, my dog has little dog syndrome but I wanted a picture with her)
- Brings a positive energy
- My wedding planner liked her
- She got some awesome photos
- Very responsive in communicating with me
- Was reasonably priced
- Was able to do a special where the engagement photoshoot was part of the wedding package (I don't know if she still does this)
- Listened to my concerns and made sure to take those into account (for example, my husband was upset with a different photographer for making it look like I'm taller than him, so Vicki made sure not to have this happen in any of her photos)

Cons:
- She left before the end of the wedding (probably because she needed to drive back home to California that night and my wedding was in Reno), but I thought that she was staying until the end (our wedding ended around 5 or 6 p.m. and it was in the summer). She came to say goodbye and said that she was done, and I was kind of overwhelmed with the day (in a good way), so I just said okay and thanks. But, because she left early, she missed getting photos of three very important moments to me--my dad and I karaoking together, my thank you speech to the guests, and everybody doing one last dance. So, I'm really bummed that I don't have those pictures. I'm lucky enough where my wedding planner's assistant videotaped them though. Still, I would have liked to have had those photos. So, make sure that you're clear on her departure time before the wedding.
- Photo editing. She let me know up front that she doesn't heavily edit her photos, which is perfectly fine. But there are some things that I think should have been edited out nonetheless, such as a random person who I didn't know staring awkwardly in the background and an electrical cord hanging from the ceiling. I think that if I were to have asked her in a timely manner to edit those things out, she probably would have. However, I feel like that stuff should just be taken out automatically. So, if that's something you want, then tell her up front.
- The printing prices. I didn't take into account that printing would be extra (I know, stupid on me), so when I went to pick which photos to print, I simply couldn't afford those prices and what I wanted at the time. I had to wait and save up and print them much later. Also, by then, it was past her deadline to ask for prints, so I ended up using Shutterfly. So, ask for the printing prices up front so that you can budget for them.
- Her internet was really rough, so it was difficult to hear what she was saying during our virtual meetings. It's been a year, so maybe she's fixed this. But if you are having her travel out of town for your wedding and you want to talk to her, then you may just want to do phone, text, or email. It probably can be done fine that way.

If I had it to do over again, I would still use her as my photographer because of all of the pros I listed. I would just make some small changes that I listed. Nevertheless, she got some wonderful pictures, I like her style of photography, and I think that she's a very nice person.
