My wedding planner had provided me with a few photographers as we were planning our wedding, but none of their work resonated with the way I envisioned our wedding day being captured. I searched on Instagram & once I saw Danielle's work, I immediately thought, THAT. THAT is how I want my wedding day captured.

My favorite part of working with Danielle is how unobtrusive she seemed, yet when we got our photos back, it was clear she had covered every corner of our wedding. Along with her assistant, she captured the reactions of our guests throughout the day, the intimate moments with myself & my husband, & the happiness of our families in our family photos. Working with Danielle was amazing, we could not recommend her more. We found Danielle based on her online reviews for our wedding, and she absolutely lived up to her stellar reputation. We appreciated how patient she was being able to stick with us after a 2 year long COVID delay. She really gets to know her couples and made us feel at ease. With big families, it can be difficult to organize so many people for different combinations of photos, but Danielle did it with ease. We loved all of her pre-wedding advice and surveys since it helped us ensure all the important moments that we wanted captured were captured and we now have beautiful photos to look back on from our special day. My whole family loved working with her so much that my sister said she would love to work with her one day when she gets married.

We found Danielle through our wedding planners, Pure Lavish Events. We booked a package that included engagement photos so we first met Danielle in June of 2019. We were a little nervous going into the pictures and she was AMAZING. She put us both at ease, helped pose us, got us to loosen up a little bit and we had a great time. Her energy was contagious and we clicked with her immediately! I felt like I knew her prior to the shoot. We walked away from that experience knowing we made the right decision with Danielle. The pictures turned out STUNNING and I knew our wedding photos would be amazing as well. I highly recommend doing your engagement and wedding photos with Danielle. It was great to meet her beforehand so when the wedding came around, it was so fun to see her again! We were supposed to get married on 6/7/20. Due to Covid, we ended up postponing twice and finally got married on 7/11/21. Danielle was so flexible, kind, and supportive along the way. She sent us a very detailed form to fill out prior to the wedding and a phone call a week out to make sure everything we were looking for got photographed - the vibe, details, etc. We hired Danielle for our rehearsal dinner and wedding. She was amazing at both. Danielle went to our venue the day before the wedding to scope out the best lighting and areas we should take pictures. This made our first look and bridal party shots smooth sailing. She knew exactly where we all needed to go and was very efficient with everyone's time! She was very detailed and kept it fun!! She brought a second photographer day of, Rebecca, to assist. She was also amazing and so friendly! Thank you Rebecca!! Both Danielle and Rebecca worked with us all day to get all the photos we were hoping for. They were patient, attentive and so sweet to work with! They kept it light and fun and never seemed tired (it was a long day). We've recently received a sneak peek of the pictures and we are in love. I was blown away looking through what she sent us so far. I can't wait to see the rest. If you are looking for a photographer in CA, please stop looking and hire Danielle. She made our day so much less stressful and being able to look back and remember the day through the photos she took is priceless. She goes above and beyond and is honestly worth every penny. She captured us perfectly and made our experience so great the 3 times we've been lucky enough to work with her! I cannot recommend her enough. To be honest, we don’t even know where to start with our review for Danielle. From start to finish, Danielle was the most amazing, sweet, attentive, genuine photographer we could have ever imagine for our engagement photos and wedding. We never had professional photos done before and were a little nervous, but Danielle made everything so easy and fun! We felt like we had known her for years. We absolutely loved her and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone! We live in San Diego and she drove to us for both our engagement photos and wedding. We had to postpone our wedding date due to Covid and Danielle was understanding, made the date change easy, and even would check in with us to see how we were doing and feeling. Not all vendors make things easy or care, but she did! We are very organized people and wanted to make sure we stayed on track with photos and time and Danielle definitely delivered. She was on it and we appreciated that so much. Directing a lot of people where to go can be a challenge, but she did an exceptional job of it. We can’t thank her enough for our beautiful photos that took our breath away when we saw them. All our photos were beyond gorgeous that now we are having a hard time deciding which ones to get framed! You will NOT regret having Danielle as your photographer. She is simply the best!

We hired Danielle Bacon Photography for our engagement and wedding photos, but due to the pandemic, we decided to push our wedding date back. Danielle was so professional and incredibly accommodating to this change in plans, which helped take the stress out of the postponement! We chatted on the phone several times over the months and I felt so confident that she understood who we are as a couple and what our vision for our wedding was. We ended up deciding to do a small backyard ceremony with our closest friends and family on our original date and with only a few weeks notice, Danielle was able to travel to capture these moments for us. Without a coordinator for this smaller event, Danielle was so helpful every step of the way in thinking through the best place and time to have the ceremony and where we should take family photos. Even when we completely changed the plan on her less than 24 hours in advance, she was so calm, cool, and collected and was more focused on making sure I was feeling relaxed! She arrived early on the day of to scout out the neighborhood to find the best location for bridal photos -- and her spot did not disappoint! Danielle's demeanor is so lovely and pleasant, but also assertive to ensure that rogue family members or bridal party stay focused! We are so thankful for her thoughtfulness in capturing these special memories and are looking forward to working with her next year for our engagement and wedding (round two) photos! Danielle is an extraordinary person and photographer. I hired her a year out from our wedding and she persisted to get to know my husband and I the entire way. I was recommended to her by another photographer who accidentally double booked herself. I am so glad I landed DanielleBaconPhotography, I freak out thinking I could of had someone else! I have never hired a personal photographer before and I love the questionnaires and surveys she sends over to get to know the client. I now realize how IMPORTANT they are. Due to the pandemic, I never met Danielle until the day of our wedding, but you would never tell. Danielle is absolutely amazing! From the moment I met her I knew she would capture the best day of our lives perfectly! Danielle did our engagement photos and photographed our wedding!
