Planning a destination wedding is difficult. You must trust in various reviews and images and 'hope' that they hold true. You must trust your instincts in the various interactions that you have with your planner via email or skype that they in fact have what it takes and that their recommendations are on point. Long and short, I am happy I did all of the above and believed in Dan Sauer's portfolio, vision and professionalism. We were quite concerned coming to our wedding day that we wouldn't have what it takes to be photogenic, find the right scenery or get the right sunlight, but with the coordination between Dan and our wedding planner (Italian Wedding Event), the execution of our wedding was pristine. Once confirming Dan, he reached out to us almost immediately to introduce himself, provide a timeline of planning / what to expect and was prompt on our beautiful day. Dan offered comfort, did not intrude and was able to capture angles and moments where I never even noticed him. I look back at his pictures and he captured every minute. I will be able to look as these photos when I am old and gray and remember every moment. We could not be more thankful than to have had him as our photographer.
