Historic Wedding Venues in Dallas

The Flour Mill was the most amazing venue to get married!!! It's beautiful and has so much personality. Not to mention it's a much better price than a lot of other venues we looked at. We used the closet they have that is completely full of beautiful decorations. It made decorating so easy and it was so much cheaper than going out and buying or renting everything. They also have a "photo booth" area with super cute decorations. We just used a Polaroid camera and it was so much cheaper than renting a full out photo booth. We used Andrea's day of coordination which was for sure the best decision we made for our wedding. She is so nice, organized, efficient, and helpful! She answered every email super quickly from the moment we booked the venue. She made sure we had every little detail organized before the wedding which made the day run so smoothly. She is amazing and so is the Flour Mill!!!

Felicity, Alex, and the Ridglea staff could not have been easier to work with. Felicity always answered our questions quickly and was very accommodating in meeting with us. Wendy from the Ridglea was awesome. She helped us set up and made sure our reception went smoothly. The bartenders and other staff were so friendly and welcoming to us and our guests! After comparing this venue with others, it was an easy decision to go with the Ridglea. The pricing and service are just unbeatable, and the theater itself is amazing.

I recently had my wedding at The Schoolhouse of Dallas, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The venue is absolutely beautiful, charming, historic, and full of character, which made the perfect backdrop for our big day. One of the biggest highlights for me was the open vendor policy. It gave us the freedom to choose vendors that matched our style and budget, which made the planning process more personalized. That said, I highly recommend looking over the contract thoroughly so you’re clear on the guidelines and responsibilities that come with that flexibility. The event manager was helpful and responsive whenever I had questions. While communication was not overly frequent, it was always timely and thorough when I needed it. Overall, our wedding day went smoothly, and I’m so glad we chose The Schoolhouse of Dallas. I highly recommend it to any couple looking for a unique and elegant venue with a bit of historic charm, perfect for couples who want a more custom wedding experience.

For all my vintage girlies, look no further! Book The Cotton Mill right away. It was easily one of the best decisions we made. It fit our style perfectly and I got SO many compliments about the venue. You do have to use their catering company but the food is fantastic! We were blown away at how good it was and not one single complaint about it. The Cotton Mill is very easy to work with and I loved the bridal suite for getting ready. 15/10 recommend.

34Events was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding. The space is beautiful and exactly what we envisioned for our day. We hosted both our ceremony and reception there for 150 guests, and it couldn’t have worked out better. One of the biggest advantages of 34Events is how much is handled in-house. From linens and flatware to special lighting, catering, and the bar, so much was coordinated through the venue, which made the planning process incredibly easy and stress-free. The food was prepared on-site and was delicious. We received numerous compliments from our guests. We also utilized Hope’s Day-of Coordination services, and it was worth every penny. Hope is simply amazing. She made the entire day feel calm and effortless, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment. We are so grateful for her care, organization, and attention to detail. Both Hope and Alex were incredibly responsive throughout the process, and we genuinely enjoyed working with them. If you’re looking for a stunning venue with outstanding service and a team that truly takes care of you, we cannot recommend 34Events enough. We had a perfect day thanks to them.

We were very excited to get married and the Hall of State! The price was very reasonable, and we fell in love with it as soon as we walked in. They host many events, including weddings, so they have almost everything you need. They have a preferred list of vendors for catering, and that made life easier because we didn't have to worry about making sure a vendor we wanted to use new the ropes of this historic building. Nora was very helpful, and our planner communicated with her often to make sure our day went as planned. Beautiful venue, beautiful wedding!

The hosts are amazing, the rooms are awesome, and the whole place is absolutely gorgeous!
