My husband and I wholly recommend Kristin and her team to anyone planning a vacation. We had a great experience planning our honeymoon to Singapore and the Maldives. Not a single tiny detail was overlooked-- flights, travel to and from airports, hotels, activities. We were passed from expert hand to expert hand seamlessly and not once had to think "How do I navigate this unfamiliar airport?" "Where do we get our bags and find our ride?" "Who am I looking for right now?" Traveling/connections were so low stress that I will not plan another vacation without DA Luxury Travel!
Her hotel/resort recommendations were absolutely perfect. She did not guide us wrong. At each hotel we stayed at, we were given upgraded rooms and special honeymoon packages with treats, champagne, massages, etc. She was available before and during our trip for questions and even our request for a last minute change. She was flexible and professional throughout. We had an awesome time and thank Kristin and DA travel! I cannot recommend them enough!

Do not plan a honeymoon without calling DA Luxury Travel! Kristin and Alicia planned our "wow" honeymoon in Indonesia and Cambodia. We initially started trying to piece it together, we would have missed so much if we did not enlist their services. The itinerary was so detailed without ever feeling like we had too much. We even got upgraded at our hotels. They know the locals that they put us in touch with, that gave us the real "Indonesia and Cambodia" that we otherwise would have missed. We felt super special everywhere went, everyone knew our name. A must!

Adam and I decided to use Kristin at Destination Affairs to plan our honeymoon, based on referral from a work colleague who used her for her South African honeymoon who raved about their planning experience. We had never used a travel agent before, however as soon as we got in touch with Kristin, working with her was a wonderful experience from our first call to our follow up call when we returned.
We were a bit all over the place in terms of finding the perfect destination. We were a challenge! She asked all the right questions, took time to understand us and what we were looking for, and recommended Bali (among other destinations) which we just came back from! It was truly a trip of a lifetime. She knew the country so well, and suggested we split our time between Ubud, Jimbaran, and Sumba Island. She recommended this amazing island to end off our honeymoon with- Nihiwatu. We NEVER would have found this if it weren't for her. All our car services were included, and we even got upgraded at 2 of the 3 hotels because they knew her company so well. We are already planning our one year anniversary, even though it's 10 months away!

I am actually engaged and currently using Kristin for my honeymoon to Greece, however I found her through my fiance's parents. They worked with Kristin,who booked us a family trip to Spain and Portugal and it was by far the most incredible vacation we have ever taken. There were 12 of us and we spent time in Barcelona, Madrid, Costa del Sol, and then went to Algarve for the last few nights. She knew exactly where to send us for dinner, she set us up with this fun knowledgable guide who took us on a tapas crawl in Madrid. In Barcelona we had a driver guide pick us up and spent a day wine tasting outside of Barcelona. Algarve, again, she knew exactly where to go for dinner. Whenever we arrived in our next destination, our transfers were always there waiting. When we arrived in Barcelona after flying from New York, she even had someone meet us at the gate inside the airport and escort us through customs. All was perfect and with our honeymoon planned already, we are looking forward to another perfect travel experience! Highly recommend!

We went to Kristin Chambers two years after our wedding to reschedule our honeymoon which we had to unfortunately cancel after health issues the week of the wedding wouldn’t allow me to fly. We had a budget to work with which wasn’t huge but still of course wanted the best we could afford after waiting so long to celebrate. The main thing was we didn’t even have a country or continent in mind, just a list of wishes so we really gave her a big project to narrow down for us. She was so patient to listen to everything we were looking for and gave a wonderful list of options and provided a lot of insight on what we’d need to prepare for the trip and a lot of great ideas on how to put it together including two nights at a destination along the way. I was recommended her by a friend who had a budget 4 times larger than ours and yet never felt like our much smaller vacation was ever a burden, we were treated like we were so special! Her recommendations were wonderful and we feel as if we got so much for what we spent, should we have booked it ourselves we would have spent much more too. It was such a win-win to have her guidance with this. We’ll never book another vacation without her!!! We received an incredible upgrade, along with a beautiful welcome floral arrangement and bottle of wine and note from the resort. Her connections with both properties ensured that even in foreign countries we were VIPs. The entire vacation felt as if we had just been married and was everything we waited 2 years for! Because we were out of the country we didn’t use our cell phones to call or text but the app that she had us download allowed us to be in constant contact whenever we needed anything so we always were connected for any questions. I will always recommend her to anyone, even if you could book it yourself, there’s no reason not to save a little money and have her expertise and experience to guide you! Thank you Averie and Kristin for planning such a wonderful honeymoon for Steven and I to Italy in early June. We traveled to Venice, Rome and Postiano and had the most wonderful and memorable trip. All of their recommendations were great and we would certainly use Destination Affairs for a future trip. Plus they have a great travel app which is super helpful! thanks ladies!

Working with Averie Borgaro and Destination Affairs, Inc. was an absolute pleasure and an even bigger lifesaver when it came to planning our honeymoon! From our very first conversation, Averie was able to provide amazing recommendations and really help us to plan a perfect trip. We were fairly indecisive and working with a certain budget, and what she provided was perfect options for multiple locations, which matched everything that we were looking for.

When we finally made a decision on where to go, Averie went to work and secured the best possible options for hotels, airfare and car rental, and then planned it down to the smallest detail. After the build up and stress of planning the wedding, the last thing we wanted to think about was the traveling, and with Averie’s help, we didn’t even think about the honeymoon until we were on our plane to paradise.

I cannot say enough great things about Destination Affairs! Both Kristin and Avery were absolutely amazing to work with and Kristin genuinely cares about each of her clients. My new husband and I were not sure where exactly we wanted to go on our honeymoon and gave her only two things we wanted—to visit Lake Como and eat great food. Kristin came up with two totally different itineraries incorporating both things we requested. We were able to work with her to craft the perfect honeymoon! The planning process was very smooth and we felt completely prepared as we took off for our honeymoon. The accommodations that Kristin picked for us were outstanding!! It seemed like each hotel we visited was nicer than the last, and we ended up eating at three Michelin starred restaurants three days in a row!! Staying at the Hotel des Berges and eating at L’Auberge De I’lll was an experience of a lifetime and we are so thankful that Kristin booked it for us. We took a wine tour of the Alsace region that couldn’t have been better, and Avery worked with the company to customize an experience especially for us. We will absolutely use Destination Affairs for any future trips we take!

Kristin was amazing to work with. She helped us select amazing hotels, restaurants, and excursions in the Amalfi Coast. At the onset she gave us a lot of great options to make sure we could find hotels in our budget. She was very low key and did not pressure us into the trip.

In addition - she was in touch throughout the trip and was able to help us along the way.

She was very hands on. The wedding planning took up so much time that it was really key to have someone that was so helpful to make sure that our trip came out great.

We are planning to use Destination Affairs on another trip. If you want to have a great honey moon this is the way to go.
