  Amazing experience

  My husband and I wholly recommend Kristin and her team to anyone planning a vacation. We had a great experience planning our honeymoon to Singapore and the Maldives. Not a single tiny detail was overlooked-- flights, travel to and from airports, hotels, activities. We were passed from expert hand to expert hand seamlessly and not once had to think "How do I navigate this unfamiliar airport?" "Where do we get our bags and find our ride?" "Who am I looking for right now?" Traveling/connections were so low stress that I will not plan another vacation without DA Luxury Travel!
  Her hotel/resort recommendations were absolutely perfect. She did not guide us wrong. At each hotel we stayed at, we were given upgraded rooms and special honeymoon packages with treats, champagne, massages, etc. She was available before and during our trip for questions and even our request for a last minute change. She was flexible and professional throughout. We had an awesome time and thank Kristin and DA travel! I cannot recommend them enough!

  Do not plan a honeymoon without calling DA Luxury Travel! Kristin and Alicia planned our "wow" honeymoon in Indonesia and Cambodia. We initially started trying to piece it together, we would have missed so much if we did not enlist their services. The itinerary was so detailed without ever feeling like we had too much. We even got upgraded at our hotels. They know the locals that they put us in touch with, that gave us the real "Indonesia and Cambodia" that we otherwise would have missed. We felt super special everywhere went, everyone knew our name. A must!

  I am actually engaged and currently using Kristin for my honeymoon to Greece, however I found her through my fiance's parents. They worked with Kristin,who booked us a family trip to Spain and Portugal and it was by far the most incredible vacation we have ever taken. There were 12 of us and we spent time in Barcelona, Madrid, Costa del Sol, and then went to Algarve for the last few nights. She knew exactly where to send us for dinner, she set us up with this fun knowledgable guide who took us on a tapas crawl in Madrid. In Barcelona we had a driver guide pick us up and spent a day wine tasting outside of Barcelona. Algarve, again, she knew exactly where to go for dinner. Whenever we arrived in our next destination, our transfers were always there waiting. When we arrived in Barcelona after flying from New York, she even had someone meet us at the gate inside the airport and escort us through customs. All was perfect and with our honeymoon planned already, we are looking forward to another perfect travel experience! Highly recommend!

  Thank you Averie and Kristin for planning such a wonderful honeymoon for Steven and I to Italy in early June. We traveled to Venice, Rome and Postiano and had the most wonderful and memorable trip.   Working with Averie Borgaro and Destination Affairs, Inc. was an absolute pleasure and an even bigger lifesaver when it came to planning our honeymoon! From our very first conversation, Averie was able to provide amazing recommendations and really help us to plan a perfect trip. We were fairly indecisive and working with a certain budget, and what she provided was perfect options for multiple locations, which matched everything that we were looking for.
  
  When we finally made a decision on where to go, Averie went to work and secured the best possible options for hotels, airfare and car rental, and then planned it down to the smallest detail. After the build up and stress of planning the wedding, the last thing we wanted to think about was the traveling, and with Averie’s help, we didn’t even think about the honeymoon until we were on our plane to paradise.

  I cannot say enough great things about Destination Affairs! Both Kristin and Avery were absolutely amazing to work with and Kristin genuinely cares about each of her clients. My new husband and I were not sure where exactly we wanted to go on our honeymoon and gave her only two things we wanted—to visit Lake Como and eat great food. Kristin came up with two totally different itineraries incorporating both things we requested. We were able to work with her to craft the perfect honeymoon! The planning process was very smooth and we felt completely prepared as we took off for our honeymoon. The accommodations that Kristin picked for us were outstanding!! It seemed like each hotel we visited was nicer than the last, and we ended up eating at three Michelin starred restaurants three days in a row!! Staying at the Hotel des Berges and eating at L’Auberge De I’lll was an experience of a lifetime and we are so thankful that Kristin booked it for us. We took a wine tour of the Alsace region that couldn’t have been better, and Avery worked with the company to customize an experience especially for us. We will absolutely use Destination Affairs for any future trips we take!

  Kristin was amazing to work with. She helped us select amazing hotels, restaurants, and excursions in the Amalfi Coast. At the onset she gave us a lot of great options to make sure we could find hotels in our budget. She was very low key and did not pressure us into the trip.

  We went to Kristin Chambers two years after our wedding to reschedule our honeymoon which we had to unfortunately cancel after health issues the week of the wedding wouldn’t allow me to fly. We had a budget to work with which wasn’t huge but still of course wanted the best we could afford after waiting so long to celebrate. The main thing was we didn’t even have a country or continent in mind, just a list of wishes so we really gave her a big project to narrow down for us. She was so patient to listen to everything we were looking for and gave a wonderful list of options and provided a lot of insight on what we’d need to prepare for the trip and a lot of great ideas on how to put it together including two nights at a destination along the way. I was recommended her by a friend who had a budget 4 times larger than ours and yet never felt like our much smaller vacation was ever a burden, we were treated like we were so special! Her recommendations were wonderful and we feel as if we got so much for what we spent, should we have booked it ourselves we would have spent much more too. It was such a win-win to have her guidance with this. We’ll never book another vacation without her!!! We received an incredible upgrade, along with a beautiful welcome floral arrangement and bottle of wine and note from the resort. Her connections with both properties ensured that even in foreign countries we were VIPs. The entire vacation felt as if we had just been married and was everything we waited 2 years for! Because we were out of the country we didn’t use our cell phones to call or text but the app that she had us download allowed us to be in constant contact whenever we needed anything so we always were connected for any questions. I will always recommend her to anyone, even if you could book it yourself, there’s no reason not to save a little money and have her expertise and experience to guide you! Thank you so much Kristin for everything, until next time!!

  Kristin is simply the best in the business! She spent over two years planning the most AMAZING, fabulous, luxurious, and somehow still economical honeymoon! She works so incredibly hard for her clients, is dependable, personable, SO RESPONSIVE, and really gets her clients!
  Kristin really seemed to understand all of the stresses and decisions that go along with wedding planning, and did everything in her power to remove those same stresses and decisions from the honeymoon planning process! She took the time to come to our home, meet us, and get an idea of what would be the perfect honeymoon for us! After the meeting she gave us a personalized list of a few destinations she thought would be perfect for us, along with reasons why. From the very first moment of our African safari to the day long wine tours in the South African wine country, to the most amazing beach vacation on a tiny, little known island in the Indian Ocean, it was truly the trip of a lifetime. Every detail was perfectly planned out by Destination Affairs, and our transportation, accommodations, tour bookings and even dinner reservations were taken care of by Kristin and her team for the entire 3 weeks. Kristin's selections for everything were simply AMAZING, luxurious, over the top, perfectly suited for our taste, and yet somehow still within our budget, it was completely mind-blowing. It seemed like every new restaurant, hotel room, or tour was the best we'd ever been to, we had to keep revising our 'favorite' list as it seemed to change with each new experience she had planned for us. And when a small hiccup did arise during travel and she was on the phone and accessible at 5am to help us deal with it. I highly, highly recommend Destination Affairs and Kristin Chambers for all of your vacation and honeymoon planning! I know she will be our travel agent for life!

  Kristen did an amazing job on our destination wedding! She was so helpful with both families, even though they were not easy to deal with. We had some issues with the Beloved Hotel in playa mujeres and she has been on top of everything! We would recommend her services to anyone looking for a great coordinator for their wedding!

  Kristen did an amazing job on our destination wedding! She was so helpful with both families, even though they were not easy to deal with. We had some issues with the Beloved Hotel in playa mujeres and she has been on top of everything! We would recommend her services to anyone looking for a great coordinator for their wedding!

  My new wife and I cant recommend or thank Kristin enough. We both wanted different things for our honeymoon and our guests when it came to a destination wedding. She worked with Lauren for hours and days to pull plans together so that everyone could be there with us on our big day. Kristin made it all possible and came up with ideas we never thought of. She worked out everything with the hotel and she also arranged for us to have an event planner so the hotel didn't miss anything. It all worked out great. I would never have believed that so much goes in to planning a destination wedding but there is and Kristin pulled it all off for us, I was shocked but most of all happy. we couldn't have done it with her.   I highly recommend Kristin / Destination Affairs!!! Our experience was beyond positive!!!
  
  Unfortunately the worst-case scenario happened for us on our honeymoon to Tahiti and our luggage was lost in route. Being literally in the middle of nowhere it seemed impossible for us to track down our luggage. With one call to Kristin, she was on it!!! She was calling the airlines every few hours to get an update, which allowed us to enjoy our honeymoon knowing she was doing everything she possibly could to get our luggage delivered. The airline was saying they couldn’t deliver our luggage for 5 days, but with Kristin’s persistence she was able to get it to us in 3 days. Now that we are back, she has offered to write a letter to the airlines on our behalf and work with our insurance to get expenses reimbursed. I don’t think this stuff is in her job description… Kristin is AMAZING!!

She returned phone calls and emails quickly throughout the whole process. The hotels that she recommended were amazing! It was so nice to have someone to make recommendations and oversee the whole trip. She booked our flights, hotels, car transfers, and ferry tickets. While we were away, we wanted to change one of our flights, and she emailed me right back and was on the phone with the airlines taking care of it. If we didn't have her helping, it would have been so hard (and an expensive phone call) for us to do while we were there. We can't wait to use her services again on another trip!

She's extremely organized, connected and best of all, patient. We weren't sure where we wanted to go, so she sent us dozens of options to choose from and patiently worked with us to fit our budget and interests. Given the stress of wedding planning, it was fantastic to not have to plan one more thing -- she made our lives so much easier. And our trip was amazing!

  Destination Affairs was a wonderful experience to work with. Kristin, from Destination Affairs, patiently helped us find itineraries for all over the world (we took a long time to decide what we wanted). We finally decided on Hawaii. She was great about working with our budget and getting us what we wanted. Our honeymoon started off with our flight being cancelled and us being rebooked for the next day. We booked these tickets on our own with our miles, but Kristin jumped in right away to speak with airline agents on the phone and at the airport to make sure we could get on a flight the same day. When we arrived we had wonderful accommodations at the Four Seasons in Maui with a daily breakfast pass (amazing breakfast, breathtaking views). We also spent time at the Grand Hyatt in Kauai. She organized a number of activities for us. Sometimes it was hard to decide to choose from so many activities, and Kristin helped us narrow in on the best ones to suit our preferences. Every part of our travels was well organized (flights, hotels, cars, activities). She provided exceptional personalized service and was always available to help if we needed to get a hold of her at anytime during our trip. We felt very safe and taken care of, as if we were her most important client. It was an absolute pleasure having her work with us, and we will definitely book future trips with her again!

  We used destination affairs to go to Greece, we spent one night in Athens, 4 in Santorini and 4 in Mykonos. We had an absolutely amazing honeymoon. We loved the hotels we stayed at the staff was unbelievably friendly and really made our stay. At Mykonos Grand they upgraded our room to a suite with our own private pool woohoo! The weather was a little chilly but other than that it was perfect. Thank you so much for all your help planning!

  My husband and I are huge fans of Destination Affairs and will be costumers for life!!! Kristin and her assistant Averie managed to turn our complicated, travel-heavy honeymoon into the trip of a lifetime and completely stress-free. We live in Southern California and although Destination Affairs is in Boston, we always felt we were getting first-class, personal service. They always return phone calls and emails quickly if you can’t get ahold of them during business hours, and can skype if you prefer. We started our honeymoon in Tokyo & Kyoto, stopped for a day in Kuala Lumpur, then moved to Ubud & Jimbaran in Bali. Our entire trip was a little over 2 weeks and included lots of activities. Although that may sound pretty packed, we never felt stressed. In the beginning, Kristin and Averie sent us lists of hotels, flights, and activities. All we had to do was pick which ones we liked best and they took care of the rest. About a week before our honeymoon, we got access to an amazing smartphone app that had our entire trip itinerary complete with reminders, confirmation numbers, names and addresses (paper and email copies sent prior). Every hotel we stayed in was 5 stars with 5 star service, and great food. Whether it was making sushi in Kyoto, white water rafting in Ubud, or eating at 3 star Michelin restaurants, every activity was unique and fun. Our entire trip, Kristin and Averie were behind the scenes calling and confirming our plans the day prior to ensure that everything was on schedule. They work with a car service that was always punctual with friendly staff and clean cars. This service met us at the hotels and airports to transfer us to our next activity or destination. Destination Affairs made our honeymoon exactly what it should be – the best vacation we’ve ever had  Thank you guys for all your hard work!
