Scott was an amazing DJ for our wedding. He was great at reading the crowd and getting our not-dancy friends and family up on the floor during the reception and was an awesome MC, making sure he got everyone's name down perfectly. Prior to the wedding, we met with Scott a few times and he was willing to drive out to meet us in person; something that we really appreciated. We hired him for the photo-booth as well and our guests absolutely loved it!

Absolutely perfect! We used Cuttin the Rug DJ for both music and Photo Booth. Everything was hands down the best. The music and mic for ceremony was also done by them. Scott played the best music. Our dance floor was perfectly packed the whole night! The photo booth had the best props and was used all night. Scott met with us a couple times and was very professional. He knew exactly what he was doing and we trusted him. Definitely the best!

Seriously the best! Scott was amazing! From our very first meeting I knew he was a good fit for us. He handled everything at our reception from the moment we walked in the door until the very last song was played. He played everything we asked him to and nothing we didn't want. The dance floor was hoping from the very first song until the last. We also got the photo booth, and our guests loved it! The attendant did an amazing job, and also was very friendly and professional. I have to say that Scott is amazing and he did an outstanding job of making sure that our reception was one to remember!

Scott was great to work with. He made our wedding day run smoothly, and took care of all the announcements and events perfectly. We told him a few weeks before the wedding that we had to make a time change and he was very flexible. The music was awesome and we would definitely recommend him!

Cuttin the Rug DJ Scott Newlin did a fabulous job as the DJ for our wedding. He was a complete professional, and I felt very comfortable with him handling the event as the DJ and the MC. We met with Scott two times before the wedding for pre-planning, and he helped to provide us with a schedule for the reception as far as grand entrance, cake cutting, and toasts were concerned. After dinner, and dancing started, he played a great variety of current and past songs to match the moment during the reception. A number of people complemented me on his services for just playing great music that kept the night going. Scott Newlin was recommended to us by someone who hired him before, and I was very thankful for the recommendation!

When I was looking to book a DJ for my wedding, I trusted the online reviews to help make my decision. I read so many wonderful reviews about Cuttin The Rug Dj, and DJ Scott Newlin. I want to say from personal experience, all the reviews are true! Scott did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding. From the time we first met with him (he does not pressure you to book at all), up to the day of our reception, he was willing and ready to assist us. He kept telling us to just show up to the event, and have fun. He insisted he would take it from there. He was so great by not just playing awesome music, but moving everything along in a timely fashion. We never felt rushed, or that we had to remind him of the next thing. He was perfect!!! We also used the Uplighting and Photo booth services. The room looked amazing from the lights, and the Photo Booth was a huge hit. All of guest commented how great the DJ was, and how much fun they had. I cant thank Scott enough for the amazing job he did. Great Company!!

Cutting the rug dj services made our wedding day even more special . Scott was very personable and enthusiastic about adding to our day. He was very professional and responsive with emails . He wanted to help make our day as easy as possible. He followed through with every request we had and made our wedding so fun and energetic . He was a real person not just someone who had a set playlist and a rehearsed personality . From the start of the ceremony all the way to last call Scott was awesome to work with . We also used Cuttin the Rug photo booth services and couldn't of been happier . The person running it, James, was responsible , trustworthy and energetic . They had great and new photobooth props and a very good set up. We received so many compliments after the wedding at how professional and fun our staff was at the wedding . I would highly recommend Cuttin the Rug dj to anyone. They are affordable and worth it. They make your wedding day the best it can be. They are also just very good people to have that day due to there fun personalities.
