The Sancutary with its original hard wood floor and 1920s style architecture is the ideal location for a truly unique and memorable wedding ceremonly and/or reception. If you choose to have your ceremony inside, the sanctuary seats 200 theater style with a generous aisle. The room has adjustable house lighting, a large stage perfect for a chuppah or arch, and a full range of audio visual and internet capabilities. After the ceremony, you guests can stroll through our museum gallery or enjoy a cocktail on our garden terrace. A reception can be held in the sanctuary which seats a maximum of 150 with table rounds and chairs. Some brides prefer an outdoor ceremony in the garden which can hold 200 people. The facility is available for rent to people of all faiths.

We are immensely grateful to have had Stacy Faherty help us throughout our wedding! We were lucky to find this gem for our wedding and Stacy went above and beyond to make sure our big day went smooth! The venue has so much character and we loved using the indoor area for our wedding ceremony and the beautiful patio area for the reception. Originally we were supposed to have around 50 guests and that turned into 160. Stacy was quick to respond and let us know that these accommodations could be made with no hassle whatsoever. She worked late nights past her regular hours to make sure we had all of our questions answered, went into detail for other items we might need that we forgot to consider, gave us a list of vendors, and even helped with the wedding planning portion of the ceremony and the reception even though that is not in her job description at all. Stacy was a blessing to have in such a stressful time during the planning, she made sure we were going to be okay and we definitely had a marvelous day thanks to all of her hard work! The venue itself is gorgeous. We were able to use the art gallery as our cocktail lounge area, take great photos in front of the venue, took advantage of the bridal bungalow in the back to get ready, and the reception was perfect outside. They used their string lights to create beautiful ambiance lighting and Stacy did her magic to arrange the layout for the tables/food/dj/bar to make sure it flowed well. Overall it was a wonderful day, beautiful venue, and the staff was professional and incredibly kind!Sent on 11/08/2017

Everything pertaining to my event and dealing with this venue was phenomenal. Rachel is absolutely amazing at her job and went above and beyond to make our wedding day amazing. My e-mails were always answered quickly - even at times of day when I knew Rachel wasn't at work. She was always willing to let me come in and talk to her or look at the facilities and even helped me work through some more personal conflicts regarding the wedding. The other members of the AZJHS crew is just as great as Rachel. I am so glad we went with them. Working with them was probably the easiest part of planning our wedding!Sent on 02/07/2013
