We are local to Colorado and wanted to host the wedding at our home. The idea of hiring a professional was very appealing because our lives are pretty full without the added element of planning a major event... Working with Custom Weddings of Colorado was invaluable in creating the wedding we wanted without the stress of trying to do everything ourselves.

Our timeline was about 6-7 months. From the beginning, Wendee provided all the information about how the process would go, which immediately put our minds at ease. Throughout the months that followed we received custom tailored communications including helpful hints and reminders to keep us on track, ideas and suggestions for day of timelines and flow, answers to our many questions and questions to clarify what we wanted. She asked for ideas and images of how we envisioned our day and on the actual day I was amazed at how well our ideas were reflected!

Wendee and her team took care of the flowers, cake, on-site coordination, photographer and officiant. Celine, the on-sight coordinator and Jeanine (Jeanine Thurston Photography) were absolutely professional and really fun to work with. Rev Chris Mohr provided a beautiful ceremony. And the flowers and cakes (provided by Stefanie Hofmeister Design and La Patisserie Francaise respectively) were simply stunning.
On our wedding day, my fiancé and I were able to focus on each other and soak it all in knowing that everything was taken care of….and that feeling was truly priceless.

I could have NEVER imagined I would get to have the most beautiful wedding in the beautiful mountains! This would not have been possible if it wasn't for Wendee and her team! Everything far exceeded my expectations. Wendee promptly answered every single question I had a long the way and even went beyond answering questions and providing so much detail. We had Celine as our on-site coordinator as well and she also went above and beyond! Handling every little detail and aspect the day before and day of. If you are researching how to plan your outdoor, Colorado wedding, stop what you're doing and reach out to Wendee. If I could give 500 stars I would. Wendee and her team made the entire wedding process not only easy and relatively stress-free BUT the 'day of' exceeded my expectations. The onsite coordinator, Celine, handled anything and everything throughout the day and made sure that every detail was perfect. She helped fluff out my dress, made sure small details were shown for pictures, corralled my family, helped the photographer with different shots, and was just the most accommodating, professional person when it came to making our day perfect.

Wendee managed to get our version of a perfect wedding done in 6 months. Throughout the process, she stayed in constant communication and gave recommendations for anything we needed. For each step, she provided a list of vendors she works with and we were able to pick the ones that we thought would be best for our wedding. I loved that we still had input and were able to customize things to match our personalities. I will post this review on every wedding site in hopes that it finds the person who needs to see this and helps them relax because they will be in good hands!

Going through Custom Weddings of Colorado was probably the second-best decision behind deciding to get married!

I found Wendee early on when I was starting to look into a small destination wedding in Colorado. I was nervous at first to trust someone I hadn't met in person, but I'm so grateful I found her! From choosing the site for the venue to being our coordinator for the day of the wedding, Wendee and her team were so incredibly helpful. She walked us through each step and gave the perfect amount of help without being overbearing. The service she provides for the cost she charges is truly amazing. I've been to so many wedding but I've never had a day go so smoothly! Her thoughtful touches were truly amazing. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

My husband and I are so glad that we decided to use Custom Weddings of Colorado to help us plan and coordinate our recent wedding! We knew we wanted a small and intimate wedding in the Colorado mountains and Wendee and her team seemed like it would be a great fit! We loved that they offered a package deal including a photographer, officiant (both of which you choose from a list to fit your vibe), a bouquet and boutonniere (from a local florist), wedding cake (from a local bakery), and a day-of wedding coordinator. This helped to streamline everything and made decision-making easier. Our photographer, Kathryn Kim, was so sweet and easy to work with, and the preview-photos that she recently sent us are beyond gorgeous! Our officiant, Leslie Ross, did a phenomenal job personalizing our ceremony and making it so unique. We received so many compliments from our guests about what an amazing job Leslie did! Celine, our on-site/day-of coordinator, did an amazing job on our wedding day, making sure everything ran smoothly. And Wendee was able to help us add on some greenery and florals from the florist, coordinate our unique wedding cake with the baker, and customize our wedding day to how we envisioned it! We were more than happy with our choice to go with Custom Weddings of Colorado. Wendee was with us every step of the way, helping us choose everything from location to catering. We really aren't great planners and Wendee made it almost too easy, giving us lots of options to choose from and bringing it all together into a BEAUTIFUL ceremony! Everything from the initial call, the emails (lots of HELPFUL and informative emails), the call a few days before my wedding, and the same day coordinator helped more than words can express.
